BaD #9

Hello Pixlbit, how are you? You saw that title right, I am going to attempt to complete the Pokedex in Y and Omega Ruby version. For those who don't know, I had a blog series on 1up with the same name which basically chronicled my quest to catch em all. In the DS Pokemon games. This was 3 games, Pearl, Platinum, and Soul Silver. At the time, there was 493 Pokemon, multiply that by 3 which equals to 1479 Pokemon to catch. Which is/was alot.

I did accomplish my task and was one of my most important gaming achievement in my life. I did also complete the 3rd Gen Pokedex in Ruby, FireRed, and Emerald years prior to the 1up one. And when I was kid, I completed the Blue, Yellow, Silver, Gold, and Crystal pokedex.

Now, there is 721 Pokemon...

721 Pokemon

...

Multiply that by 2...

Is 1442 Pokemon to catch between both games. It's slightly less than the 4th gen Pokedex, but will take longer to complete. In Pearl, Platinum, and Soul Silver, I had to catch 493 in one game and I was done and moved to the next. Now, it's 721 before I move on to the next one. Plus there is one Pokemon that isn't legitimately available over here or anywhere.

I hope for it to be available this year. I hope to complete the Pokedex before the end of the year, if not sooner. So wish me luck in my quest to Catch Em All.

That's it for now, thanks for reading and...

Can't remember if I ever finished the Pokédex on Red but I was really close at the very least. You, sir, have some very ambitious goals.

I was only able to catch all the Pokemon in the first game.  I figure that's good enough for me.
