I don't really collect stuff like this, but I like the look of the figure.

Hey Pixlbit, how are you? I think a long time ago I mentioned wanting to give a better look at the Wind Waker Link Nendoroid. For those who don't know what a Nendoroid is, it is basically a chibi-sized figure of a character. These figures come with various accessories, like alternate faces, swappable hands, arms, legs and so forth for posing as well as items like weapons and so.
Link from WW was already a chibi so obviously it made sense that they made one, in time for WW HD a while back. So with that, here is a review of sorts of the WW HD Link Nendoroid...
Images start from left to right...
These things come in a box like the one pictured above. I had already took it out a while ago.
Here he is holding the Wind Waker accessory.
They even included a face that link has when he is sneaking in the game. You can get the exact sneaking pose. Here is WW Link compared to the Skyward Sword Link figma.
WW Link even comes with an effect part to simulate the Spin attack from the game. He also comes with a sword and shield as well as hands to hold them. He also comes with an angry face. He comes with different legs, standing ones and the ones in the sneaking image.
Link even comes with a Heart Container like the ones that pop up after you have defeated a boss. Also included is a face Link puts when he obtains a new item as well as alternate hands. Link also comes with a stand because Nendoroids can't stand without them, and you need them to get them into various poses.
Final Thoughts: I love this figure. I never had any Wind Waker related merchandise before outside a few shirts, the games, and the WW HD CE. It is by far the best WW Link figure out there. 100% than the ones you might see at a mass retail chain from World of Nintendo.
Unfortunately what will put you off is the price on this thing. I almost paid 50 bucks for it when I pre-ordered it. It is around 30-ish now, the only thing you have to be careful is of bootleg versions of Nendoroids. But if 30-50 is too steep, then the World of Nintendo one or the Toon Link amiibo might be up your alley.
Still, I highly recommend it if you love Wind Waker as much as I do, and I do love Wind Waker alot. There's a Zelda nendoroid from WW in prototype stages and will be planning on getting that. Wish it was Tetra, but Zelda is just as good.
So, do you have any nendoroids? Thoughts on the Link nendoroid? Thanks for reading and...
Coming Soon...
