BaD Couple of Days

Firstly, I'm not feeling well so I'll keep this brief. I have a migraine and my eyes are killing me.

Secondly, my power was out for most of the weekend. Not fun. I got a lot of warhammer painting done though, and they're starting to look good. I'll post pics when I can be bothered.

I saw Deadpool and loved it. Hands down the best Marvel movie to me, but Deadpool's been in my heart for a while, and they fucking nailed it.

Jesus Christ BaD is txing. The actual blog part is easy. Blogging every day and trying to comment on other peoples blogs? Nope. Honestly, I read like 4 blogs a day before my head starts to hurt. Sorry guys.

I'm done with most anticipated games for a bit. I have a few more and I'll continue it later, but from now on I'm going to list an underrated/hidden gem every day.

 Bye.

Honestly its probably a mix of dry weather, lack of sleep, and lots of looking at screens.

I enjoyed Deadpool as well. Hope you feel better.

I say just comment on what interests you. I know other people have been doing so by the lack of comments on some of my blogs. Ha! Tongue Out

I look forward to talking about it this weekend. Also, about the podcast, from now on, we talk about one subject each - 1 movie, 1 game, 1 tv show, 1 book. If you don't want to talk about book, you can talk about 2 of another subject. 3 hours is far too long to listen to two people :p

Yeah. The problem isn't reading. I can barely be bothered replying to my own comments let alone commenting on other peoples blogs. But I'm going to try. Maybe one blog for each person per week or something. Idk, I'll work something out.

Actually, i think it's better to just time segments so we can talk about more, but actually have kind of a limit on time. So like 10 minutes on TV or something.

Thays probably a better idea. We'll work out what we want to talk about before hand so we can give alottments accordingly.

Yeah, I think we hurt the product when we wing it. I've been taught for four years and now teach that pre-production is everything, yet get lazy about it for these just-for-fun affairs.

I'll come up with some kind of plan while my students are working on their projects tomorrow hopefully.

Still have to see Deadpool. I think I'll go after my move Saturday. Treat myself to it. I hope you feel better!

Thanks. Do it. I think  it's the greatest thing Marvel has done with the exception of Jessica Jones - Even though it's Fox and not Marvel doing it...

I thought Deadpool was just alright. Had some great jokes and did a few cool things with its action, but most the jokes had me rolling my eyes. Movie just wasn't as clever as it thought it was and felt like it was whacking off to how amazing it thought it was the whole time. Terrible villain too.

I feel like it's lt's like an episode of South Park: about half the jokes fall flat and the creators are far too happy with themselves - but the jokes that land hit hard. Especially the 127 hours joke, the xmen alt timelines, everything to do with his room mate etc. And the action was great.

The ending was a bit meh, and yeah, apart from wanting to kill deadpool for calling him francis, the villain was a bit meh. Also, this had the opposite problem of most movies in that the worst jokes were in the trailers.

All in all, I had a great time. It was a really fun movie that carried through it's flaws with great energy. Plus, I've always loved Deadpool, even though he can be annoying as fuck.

P.S. it may help my enjoyment that we were sitting next to 4 little old ladies who laughed harder than anyone else at every really dirty joke.

I'm hearing a lot of good things about Deadpool, and I'll check it out on Friday at the swanky fancy theater.

Darn, I may have to go see Deadpool then this weekend.

I'm well behind on reading blogs too. I'm just taking the most recent first and getting as far as I can with the time I have. I still have 140 blogs/comments to get to. I guess I'll never run out this year. That's a plus.
