BaD Songs

So... I'm still a bit out of it, so you can just have some music. It's been a weirdly long time since I've listened to metal, weirdly enough.

Busdriver - Eat Rich

I first discovered Busdriver through Tony Hawk's Underground, and have been following him ever since. This song has been stuck in my head for days.

Radiohead - All I Need

Man, I've been on a massive Radiohead kick lately. They write the best sad songs. I fucking love this song, and it's tied with Exit Music (For A Film) for my favourite of theirs.

Kanye West - Real Friends

What the shit? Kanye West actually sounds like a human here. This is the Kanye I like, the self aware one.  I like the beat, and his lyrics here are actually good, which is a relief after Yeezus. It's basically him saying how fame has made him an asshole and how he's alienated all the people who actually cared about him.

 Bjork - Hunter

Remind me again how Bjork ever got famous? Her music is weird as shit. I love this album though.

Captain Murphy - Between Villains

What? MF DOOM, Earl Sweatshirt, and Flying Lotus in one track? Am I in heaven? The music is eerie, the wordplay technical, and it's just a cool moody track. Can't wait for Captain Murphy's next project!

I'm not a Radiohead fan but I did like when In Rainbows was released, where they let fans name their own price to download the digital copy, which at the time was a new concept.

Yeah they basically introduced the world to bandcamp.

I can't take Kanye seriously after ... recent events.

As for Bjork getting famous, you see, there was this decade called the 90s ...

I know, but most "weird" commercial bands of the 90's at least make sense as to how they got big... I guess Trip Hop was just fucking huge.

The problem with Kanye is he's an idiot that (mostly) makes good music.

Love the Radiohead, skipped the Kanye on principal. Love Bjork too. Weird is good. The Captain Murphy is kind of cool too.
