I went back to the same used media shop and they did not have anything new on the shelf. I think that I might make more regular stops, just to see if they get any new NES or even SNES games in. Gamestop has been offering Retro classic on their website at competetive prices, and they still had Crystalis in stock. So, I ordered that and a first-party NES controller. I still don't have the means to play the games, but I am still looking into the clone machines. The Retron 5 sounds appealing to me, I like the idea of playing my GBA games on the big screen.

In other news, I have been messing around with Dishonored again and have quickly given up on the stealthy approach. There is just something appealing about going around and killing everything and everybody. The plague runs rampant through the streets with more deaths and you run into more and more people infected. There are also more groups of rats that will eat up the corpses and kill passerbys. It is a really bleak way to play the game, but being a complete badass appeals to me at the moment. Who knows, I may go back and try for a stealth run in the future... we will see if I have the patience.

I have downloaded Firewatch and installed Wasteland 2 on my PS4. I am not entirely sure when I will get around to them, but I like knowing that they are ready when I am.

Funny thing about GameStop and classic plastic is that one of the local stores has a handful of N64 games under glass. I remember when they were trying to blow them out to make room for PS2 , and other games, and now they're back.

The Retron 5 seems like a cool multi-cart console.

I remember those days.  I got an open, but new copy of Xenogears for cheap.

I tried being stealthy in Dishonored at first but I just was not good at it. I loved playing that game but yeah, I wound up getting the bad/plague ending Undecided

I prefer the high chaos ending.  I can't exaclty remember them, but there was something that felt fake/forced about the low chaos ending.

I actually beat MGS2 by just killing everyone ... pretty much turned Snake into Rambo.

The combat in Dishonored is more developed than the stealth mechanics, which are pretty simplistic. The media misrepresented the game by putting that aspect at the fore.  But if you know anything about Arkane the developer, you would see the resemblances to their previous games such as Dark Messiah of Might and Magic and Arx Fatalis, where stealth was an option and not the central theme.
