Far Cry Primal Impressions

So I bought Far Cry: Primal because for some reason or other I'm not bored of Ubisoft games yet. Probably because unlike most of you slobbering idiots, I only buy one every second year, and therefore don't get fatigued by their nonsense. And I still like Far Cry for some reason.
Far Cry: Primal is a game where you play as a primitive black man - because the only way a publisher will greenlight a black protagonist is if he throws fucking spears at something. But we can forgive that because this is a game where you can ride a fucking bear, I'm going to say that again in case you couldn't hear me over your engorged *ahem* pixlbits. You can ride a fucking bear. Actually, if your pixlbits are being engorged by bear riding, maybe this isn't a game I should encourage you to play, and maybe someone should inform your zoophilic ass that I mean riding a bear for traversal reasons, not for like... Caligula reasons.
Anyway, First thing I want to say is WHAT THE FUCK JESUS JUICE ARE THEY RUNNING THIS WITH? No, seriously, this game is gorgeous. How is it running on a PS4? This has to have the most dense levels of detailed plantlife I've ever seen!
No, that is not a photo. That is what the game actually looks like. And it's one of the least impressive areas I've found, since there are very few screenshots on google. Still, I can't wait to see how it looks on PC!
But how does the game play? Fucking excellently. There is something weirdly cathartic about throwing a spear through someone, as is playing pokemon with the local wildlife. It saddens me that you can only make predatory animals your pets though. I want to own a monkey. Or a Tapir. Or a Dear. Or... look, Ubisoft, this is the only time I will actively ask you for DLC, but please, PLEASE! make dlc that gives me more pet options!
Also, dear lord the game is gruesome. Not the actual combat mind you, but leftovers you find at cannibal camps are unsettlingly detailed.
Anyway, the game is good, and a refreshing shakeup for the series. Hopefully it stays good.
