I'm amazed by how fast the year is going already. It's almost March!  Xmas was like... yesterday!  

I guess I'm getting old too.  

I used to watch X-Files when I was in high school and college.  One time I even met one of the X-Files stars at E3.  I can't remember her name, but it was the lady on the show.

I've seen some of the new X-Files.  Parts of it feel like the old episodes I used to watch.  They even use the same intro.  I don't like it when they have a big arching complicated storyline that takes up several episodes, though.  I just like it when they go to SmallTown USA and beat up the local resident alien ghost monster thing and then go home after the hour is over with.

Gillian Anderson. That's awesome.

I started rewatching the old ones a couple of weeks back. I've seen the first 15 episodes of season one so far. Remember when a season was 24 episodes long, not 6 or 8?

Yeah you can thank writers' strikes for that nonsense.  Same with the glut of reality shows.

Let me know what you think of Life is Strange. I  was thinking about getting it.

I didn't really like the demo but others have enjoyed the series so I thought for 10 bucks why not.

What I thought was my splurge fund will actually be the difference between this and last paycheck for me, since they forgot to take certain taxes out last time. But $10 for LiS is temptimg ... is it the whole season/series?

Are they going to make more X-Files episodes? I enjoyed the final season many moons ago, but when this 6 episode mini-series aired, I wasn't into it. 

Yep, there will be more. I thought David and Gillian did a great job of picking up where they left off.
