Asthma is BaD

Was diagnosed with asthma yesterday; still need to pick up inhaler and meds tomorrow from Walgreens.

Gave students "dad" speech about not waiting until the last minute on projects and some consistent errors I saw.

Watched more Better Call Saul.

Decided to start eating right again as well as working out.

Definitely need a new mattress that isn't a slow-leaking air mattress.

Have felt weirdly in a good mood most of today.

Am certain students calling me all names in book behind my back after those speeches.

Couldn't watch Oscars but caught recap. Taught 101 class by tying movie chapter back into Oscars.

Enjoying the warm but not hot March weather.

Tomorrow is a new month. Yay Leap Year.

Have been playing a lot of Injustice Gods Among Us.

Hmm. You felt in a good mood...after having given the dad speech about responsibility. I think you learned something about yourself today! Tongue Out

Papers are a bit different from video projects I think.

I've had asthma my whole life and it can be rather annoying. Fortunately, the worst is behind me (I don't need my inhaler anymore, honestly), but I hope it doesn't cause too many problems.

I still need to watch Better Call Saul. I've been watching The Fall and Brooklyn Nine-Nine, too shows that couldn't be further apart tonally.

Not bringing my other one down was a terrible mistake.

Windows are covered in ice tonight as the freezing rain continues. Supposed to turn into 15 centimetres (about 6 inches) of snow over night. I'm so glad I don't have a commute.

My wife watches Better Call Saul. I've only seen bits and pieces. I'm still busy finishing up the first 24 episodes of X-files.

Take care of that asthma and for god's sake get a real mattress or you'll wind up crippled.

I hope your feeling okay, that sucks about the Asthma. My brother was able to eventually stop using a inhaler but it can be rough.

Im glad you gave them a talk because their little asses need it. They probably are calling you names but one day they will realize the importance of what you said.

Honestly, their projects turned out ;pretty ok for the most part. There are really some in particular that needed it and I didn't feel like calling them in one by one. They all procrastinated and could have done a lot better so I still feel justified though. lol

Hot damn dude, sucks about the Asthma. At least you are able to control it with the inhaler. I would say the Ahole kids are the ones talking trash behind your back, and usually the ones who aren't doing too well. Props on connecting the Oscars to what you are teaching.

Nah, I did well in school and still talked behind my prof's back when I was frustrated; I'm not mad about that at all. I find that amusing, as it it genuinely makes me laugh and brings me back to my undergrad days when we all bitched and moaned. We also grew to love our profs though. Good times. Now the girl who showed up to my office to literally laugh in my face when I said I was taking attendance today and said she had better things to do ,.. we're gonna talk about that shit.

I tried connecting the Oscars to what I'm teaching ... unfortunately, I think the Oscars are for me and old ppl so not sure how much good that did engaging them. ha!
