So can I just say Im super happy. Nintendo has officially made Summer 2016 a great one for me. I wont lie, I was hopeing for maybe a bit more sneak peak at Pokemon Moon/Sun but the new Monster Hunter works just fine for me. I really wasnt expecting this announcement. I was honestly thinking we wouldnt see the new one till 2017/2018. I actually thought when its trademark leaked that it was a spinoff title because I wasnt expecting them to change the title from X to Generations. Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate really pulled me into the series which I still say to this day its an excellent title to try it because it is super beginner friendly.

Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate is currently $19.99 in the eshop on the 3DS for the next 48 hours starting today.

My most exciting part of the Nintendo Direct was the new Kirby game! I think the closest thing I'll come to playing a Monster Hunter game is unlocking the special Monster Hunter furniture in Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer.

You and Kirby, I swear,lol! I'm excited for the new Kirby as well. I enjoyed the 2 previous titles they released recently. I need to grab all the new amiibo they announced for it.

Is this like a compiliation of Monster Hunter games? Looked like there was some Freedom Unite and 3 HD elements in there (the only MHs I've played).

As far as I know there bringing back 3 villages from different games. Only 1 will be brand new. There could very well be elements from other games in it.

I'm the best bad influence ever! Let me know if you wanna co-op in it. I still have my hunter and while I'll need to relearn a Lil I'm totally up for playing.
