Wow, really? I thought the demo looked pretty good. Maybe the multipayer has a different look?
Uncharted 4 Multiplayer Beta Impressions

So I've been playing the multiplayer beta for Uncharted 4. Multiplayer is far from the focus of the series, but at least since 3 it's been a somewhat fun diversion, and this appears to be no different. In the beta so far I've only played one map (if there's more I've been unlucky) but it's a cool map. The climbing and platforming add a lot to fun of the game, although I feel it would be better suited to objective focused modes like domination or ctf than the team deathmatch mode we're stuck with.
I like the multiplayer, but on the whole, I'm left feeling unimpressed. I know it's in alpha, but this is an ugly game. I appreciate that it runs at 60fps but Nathan Drake looks like looks like he's made of plastic. We've seen what this team can do with the last of us, and this is not it.
It also still plays like Uncharted, which means the platforming and combat are clunky as fuck. 60FPS helps, but this is still not a smooth game, and it feels light years behind The Last of Us in terms of animation.
They've got 2 months until release, and Uncharted has always been about wowing people with pretty graphics and insane set pieces. We've seen the set pieces in the trailers - but this is one of the ugliest games I've played on PS4 - not just from a technical standpoint, but from an aesthetic one.
Hopefully the full game doesn't leave me feeling physically ill when I look at the models.
