Fable Legends Cancelled Apparently

So this big news of today is that Fable Legends is cancelled and Lionhead is possiably being closed. Im sort of sad about this news. I did like the Fable series, at least the 1-3 titles. I wasnt overly happy with the title they were currently making nor did the Kinect title impress. I watched a sibling play it, it was not amusing nor fun. I really wanted a new game in the Hero line but nope, not happening and it possiably might not happen ever. I have no idea what will happen to the series now. I figure Microsoft will still hold it rights of course but whether they will use it is the big question. So for now at least Its goodbye Fable. You had your faults but overall I enjoyed you.

I loved the first Fable game but while the other two are in my library I haven't played them.

Still sad to hear but not surprised.

Well 2 and 3 are both good in my opinion but 2 is considered the best overall and 3 is considered the glitchy step child,lol

I'm sad about that too. I loved the three Fable games. I was really annoyed at the gameplay style of Legends. This is what happens when a creative lead, Peter Molyneux, leaves a studio. Legends was a game made to cater to the current trends in gaming without respect to the original idea. I'm not surprised it failed. I guess it's possible Peter Molyneux could revive the series sometime. Has he done anything really interesting since then? I haven't heard much.

He is working on something called Godus last I heard. I think it's a mobile game. Microsoft holds I believe the series rights so unless he brings it back under another name IDK if he can.
