Happy 55th birthday Reginator

Reggie Fils-Aime

Hello everyone, how are you? Just a quick heads up today. Today is the 55th birthday of NoA's Reggie Fils-Aime, and on Good Friday too. Love him or hate him, but I personally think he's done a good job at Nintendo, even though I don't always agree with everything he does. Though he's had quite a few great moments when we see him on video, usually doing something really funny be it readying his body or being a puppet.

So, here are a few of my favorite Reggie moments...

I remember reading about the last video in EGM when he first came on. Happy birthday, Reg!

I never met Reggie but I must've passed close by him at E3 one year because I StreetPassed him on my 3DS. This was when the 3DS first came out, so later when they sent out Special Miis via Spotpass, Reggie didn't count as a Special Mii for me because I had already got him! I think that same E3 I also StreetPassed Yuji Naka.

A few E3's later, I did get to see him and Miyamoto up on stage at the Nintendo press conference where they announced Wii U games like Nintendo Land.

I did get to meet two other Nintendo greats in person, though. Howard Phillips and Charles Martinet.

I used to work for Pizza Hut in the late '90s and always thought they had good ads and interesting new products. Then I found out Reggie used to be head marketing there when they had the Big Foot pizza. So I've always been curious to see what he'll do.
