*That was a Xenoblade Chronicles X reference*

Hello everyone, how are you? Thank you all for the birthday wishes and thanks for the support on my game dev venture. As always, here's the things I got for my birthday:

Nintendo Birthday Wallpaper

This was from Nintendo actually. They sent me this via email one day before my birthday actually, so it was nice of them to send me something. My brother got one from Nintendo too earlier this year and what's neat is that it's a different one, so I can assume everyone who subscribes to their newsletter and whatnot will get one, either like this one or a different one. I'm using this on my pc, and was looking to replace the current one I had so this came at the right time. I can share this with you, click on the image and it'll take you to a separate tab to save it on your pc. It's 1920x1080 though.

This one was from my brother that he drew for me and knows how much I like Pokemon. It's Red from Pokemon and looks really awesome. Thanks for that.

Birthday Haul

And this is what I got. Sly Collection was from my brother, who drew me the drawing and Forza Horizon and the Mario Hot Wheels car were from my little bother. They know me so well. I also got birthday money from my folks, that will be going towards Bravely Second's CE.

I've played both of them and love them. Horizon finally gives me another reason to turn on the 360 again and it's really fun so far. Really love the open world and how it's more street racing focused rather than sim-ish like the other Forza games. Really love that I can use the Classic VW Beetle in a game with HD graphics. I guess you can call my family VW Beetle enthusiasts? That might be stretching it a bit though but we love those cars. Backstory time: You see my family has owned a VW Beetle since I was a kid. I remember my dad had one when I was a kid and sold it. My first car was a VW Beetle, but had to sell it. And now my brother has one of his own that we plan on fixing up. My borther is an avid fan of those cars, and while he likes both the classic and modern design of them, he preffers the older one because that design is timeless. He has a collection of Hot Wheels cars based on that design and he's shown interest in playing Horizon just for that car alone.

I've also played the first Sly game so far and I'm really enjoying it so far. Love the platforming mechanics like slowing down time to time a platform jump carefully and the climbing, the stealth, and well, everthing. Like how everything from the cutscenes and the game has a stylized look to it. I'm at Mesa City so far and really excited to see how that place is and what comes after. All I can say now is that I will have new material for BaD next year and will need to get Sly 4 and the Ratchet and Clank HD Collection in the future.

Not going to open the Hot Wheels car though, I have some and don't open them, as the undercarrage tends to rust on them ovetime and they look better in the package in my opinion. I will post a pic of what I have at some point soon. I'm amazed my little brother got me one, as I've been looking for those everytime I go outside, but obviously scalpers have gotten to them.

Well that's about it for now. Thanks for reading and later.

I haven't opened my wolf Link Amiibo yet and I don't think I will.

Those are nice gifts man.  You are obviously loved (by Nintendo too!) Tongue Out

Happy Birthday!  Have a power pellet!

I got a birthday wallpaper from Nintendo last year, but the link to it doesn't work anymore.  Oh well.  Maybe I'll get another one this year.

Sly collection is pretty sweet. I want to play all those. I think I have at least two of them for PS2 still. 3 came with 3-D glasses I recall.
