Tracing Dat Ass

I was going to comment on the whole Tracer thing but from the look of things I think it’s safe to say that Blizzard Entertainment is a big fan of South Park. I was going to check out Overwatch in any case and now I want to play dat ass more so now.
Moving on to a bit of Fire Emblem Fates. Before I go on I just wanted to bring something up. With the whole Treehouse thing (the localization, not Rapp’s termination) I actually felt a bit ashamed to play it. I love the gameplay and I can stomach some bad translations along with poor localization but this whole uproar kind of makes me feel guilty. That is not to say I don’t agree. As a RPG junkie I do like to see some good story elements and character development. And looking at the torrential downpour imgur gallery I found out that one Rank C was nothing but ellipses when the original was about two assassins mentioning that their reputation has be noticed by each other. But to the point: I like playing the game and yet a part of me feels bad about it. Guess it’s a good thing the Pokemon Core Games are inhouse with the Pokemon Company, including localization.
Speaking of, that whole “sneak peek” for Pokemon Sun & Moon’s gameplay. Only two things I have to say about it: I was blinded by the hype and now I want to learn Japanese even more so I follow what they’re saying next time. By the way, can anyone tell me what the hell is the point of the clock in the upper left corner(?) because Game Grumps kind of left it unanswered in one of their one-offs.
But back to Fire Emblem. I caved in with the DLC (still working on getting Revelation because of damn digital tax laws). I got Boo Camp and the other gold map. I’ve only played Boo Camp and it is certainly different from Awakening’s get quick EXP map. This could be because I’m playing Conquest (EXP and gold is heavily reduced) but the map doesn’t make it easy for you to grind for levels. And by that I mean you don’t get a level for a kill. You get more EXP than normal but you have to earn those levels. Just like the gameplay the DLC has improved and balanced out.
When I get more Pokemon merchandise I’ll have a little photo blog. I’ll also do a Miitomo blog when I mess around with Miifoto a bit more.
