So yes. I get a email that said the GoW4 Beta was avalible in the Xbox Store. So away I went to download it.
In other news. Mirriors Edge Catalyst is going really well. Mostly you are going small snatch and grab missions and upgrading your different running moves. The graphics look really good and the running is real fluid. That is it for now.

I never got into Gears of War, but I appreciate it's contribution to gaming with the whole "over the shoulder" cover based shooting thing. I tried to play with my brother some but he had already gone through the games and it wasn't too fun.
I'm excited as hell for Mirrors Edge.
Well it is one of the man guys that worked on the original GoW. So far it seems old hat.
If gears is coming to pc I'll be interested. I hope it sticks more to the first two though. I liked the creepy atmosphere more than the straight out dudebro nonsense - even if gameplay was still fun.
Mirrors edge... man I can't wait. I hated the first one. It's one of my favourite games of all time, but I hated it. Hopefully this one instills the same reaction.
I am sure it will. The only thing avalible is Multiplayer, which most of it feels old hat to me.
I have a feeling there will be other games to top Gears 4 this holiday for me, but I'm darn interested.
For certain, I really want to play Uncharted 4 and Ni No Kuni 2.
