Yeah saw this news last night. Interesting about the mobile, disappointing about the NX. I was kind of hoping it would launch this year, but I'll get over it.

Hello Pixlbit, how are you? There was quite a bit of new Nintendo news about maybe an hour ago as of this. You may be in for some disappointment or not so get ready...
Zelda for the Wii U has been delayed once again. Yes, I know what you're thinking, what, again? There's a reason for the delay but you might already know why. I'll get to that in a bit. Zelda on Wii U will be playable during E3, so we'll finally see some new footage! There's a catch though, it will be the only playable game on Nintendo's E3 showfloor. Yes you read that right. According to Nintendo, it is so they can only focus on Zelda. Though they never said there wont be new game announcements, there will most likely be new announcements. That pic up there is official art for the game, so we finally have some art. Now on to why the delay...
It is going to be released on both the Wii U and the NX. Yes, like Twilight Princess. Except that Nintendo has said that the NX will launch on March 2017. So we can most likely expect it to be a launch title. I mean it wouldn't make sense to release it on Wii U this year and the NX version next year. But that's just me.
The NX wont be shown at E3. However it will be shown at its own event, most likely a Nintendo Direct before the end of 2016. They will show specs, price, games and so on. They said it wont replace the 3DS and Wii U, which is interesting.
Finally, some mobile apps/games based on Animal Crossing and Fire Emblem will launch around autumn. That one really doesn't interest me, but if it does, then there you go.
As for my take, I'm not sure. I am disappointed we have to wait for Zelda, again. But if the NX version will be the better of both versions, then I can wait I suppose. I mean it isn't really shocking to be honest, it was something that was inevitably was going to happen. As for the NX, I'm sure it was a given that it wouldn't launch this year. At least I have time to save up for it. And as for mobile, glad Nintendo is doing well in that area.
