I read your Duskers review. Been kind of curious about that game. Now I feel more informed.
Logitech does make good controllers. The Logitech wireless PS2 controller is one of my favorites.

It’s been awhile since I last did a blog entry and with quite a few things happening between then and now I’m going to try to make short and to the point.
To start off with I’ve upgraded the Dell a bit. One Sunday I was walking home and noticed a PC tower in the dumpster (yes, I kind of dumpster dived). It was one of those HP Pavilions and it just so happened it uses the same DDR2 memory sticks the motherboard in the Dell uses. Aside from a couple of 512 sticks it also had two 1GB ones as well. Not only that but that thing had a 1 terabyte hard drive installed. So I put the 1GB sticks in my PC (bringing me up to 3 gigabytes of physical memory). As for the 1TB drive I was going to use it to make the Dell a Linux box but I decided it would be better to use it as a second drive for Dad’s (since I use his for some of the other games I can’t run on here).
Sticking with PCs for the moment I’ve found something else I was planning on getting one day. I like my Nyko Airflo but it can’t play some of the games I have, like Ninjahtic Mind Tricks and Dust: An Elysian Tail. But then one day at my local Goodwill I found it: a Logitech F310 controller. I only had to pay for a fifth of the cost of what it would usually go for new. And the thing works like a dream. I may be getting use to playing a few games on it but it improved on what I did play: Borderlands The Pre-Sequel, Dust: A Elysian Tail, Skyrim, and more to come.
With a recent paycheck I received a $25 bonus. Originally I was going to use that for helping me pay off a bit of Pokemon Moon but I was suppose to wait. About a few days afterwords, however, I think I can say that I’ve spent my bonus when I got some nifty Mega Blox figures. Now they may be from the next Bay movie but I think these TMNT figures they’re neat. Originally I got Ralph (because as a kid he was the turtle I always liked) but Mom got the other three the next night before she went to work (bringing them home when she got off). I'm still going to try to add to my preorder (might have to skip a couple of the 20th anniversary figures).
I’ve been getting around to playing Explorers again (didn’t go online tonight because who would spent their Memorial Day on a server) and decided to have a Red Mage build handy (just in case). I was trying to get some materials to build a Blood Sword when Dad suddenly asked me to look at his computer to fix it. He was trying to rig a port to have a better connection with Rift or something and he couldn’t get an Internet connection. (damn it Jim, I’m a PC operator, not a net doctor). Fortunately it was limited to his PC. He was trying to manually undo the damage he did to no avail. I just ran a system restore to yesterday's (as of writing this) point. It was connecting to the Internet like it did before. I figured whatever he did must have a previous configuration on the restore point I used. I think I would need to install Awesomenauts again but that’s no problem.
On to gaming. At another second hand store (St. Paul De Vincent) I found a copy of Tiny Tank. I still need to play it but I think it’s at a point where I could benefit from having a PS3 for memory (that’s still backwards compatible with PS1 games, right?) It was also the same day I found a t-shirt (from a second hand clothing store) with the 80’s TMNT team and the TMNT Mega Blox at K-Mart (going for the 2012 series TMNT next, though those are blind bags). As for the Shadowrun modules: I’m putting off the project until there is an actual time to do them. I really wanted to learn how to use the editor and make my own campaigns but I’ve been busy with other things in life. I can’t really complain, though. Ever since I found out that the video game industry was an actual thing I wanted to be apart of it. I love video games as a passion and in a way I wanted to spread that love with people who felt the same. I may not be writing events for the latest games but writing about them as a job actually makes me feel like I’ve accomplished a part of my goal somehow.
Speaking of my journalist job I’ve been busy since the last blog. Check out the articles, links at the bottom as usual. Till next time.
