OST Spotlight--Kirby Super Star

Upbeat and exciting are the words to describe these awesome tunes
Kirby Super Star was released very late in the SNES's life (1996), yet it stands as an excellent game, one which should not be missed. It offers eight different games, some longer adventures while others are very brief. The game is easy, yet there are plenty of challenges for pro gamers, most notably the treasure adventure, which has treasure chests hidden all over the place. It stands, in my opinion, as the best Kirby game ever.
One thing that pushes the game to the top of the list is the soundtrack. Almost every theme is memorable in some way, whether it's the classic Kirby tunes, the more exciting battle themes, or simply the grand adventurous ones. Every song is filled with personality and charm. The entire OST is upbeat and catchy, which I just love. So let's enjoy eight of those wonderful themes.
Orange Ocean
This is probably my favorite track from the ost. It's pure Kirby goodness! It's upbeat, fun, adventurous, and very catchy. This one might get stuck in your head at random moments. It's very happy and exciting. KSS has great instrumentation as well.
Kirby Attacks!
I'm sure you've heard this one as it was featured in Super Smash Bros. Brawl for Metaknight's stage. The Metaknight adventure in the game is awesome as Kirby launches an attack on his ship to stop him, ending with a climactic sword battle with Metaknight. This song is boisterous and tense, but also mixes in some very Kirby-like sounds in the midst of all the chaos.
Ride into the Sunset
This is the ending theme for the Metaknight adventure. After barely escaping the exploding ship, Kirby rides off into the sunset on a wheelie. The lone trumpet and organ make this one unique from the rest of the songs in the game. It's a little melancholy and lonely, but still great.
Dynablade
This short theme is the intro theme for the Dynablade adventure. This is the first real adventure in the game, and therefore is quite easy. This theme is so happy! It works well considering the fact that Kirby's task is reuniting Dynablade (a giant bird) with her baby chicks, which leads to a very happy ending.
Marshmallow Castle
This is the smug, waltz-down-the-street theme. It sounds a little gangsta' to me. The whole thing is quite laid-back, with a slow melody by a jazz trumpet which sounds a little wonky. It's not as upbeat, but the driving beat is still present throughout.
Later Treasure Hunting
The treasure hunting adventure is the most difficult as you're tasked with finding a lot of treasure chests, some of which are very tricky to get. This theme is a remixed version of Green Greens; it's redone in a very regal way, sounding like you're approaching a king. It'll loop once before getting into a more exciting part which ramps up the strings quite a bit. Excellent!
Marx Theme
This is the final boss theme for the game, and it's pretty epic. Marx is a villain with a bat-like appearance who flies around and shoots beams of energy at Kirby. The theme is ominous and intense at first, then moves into a more inspiring theme which connects the Kirby theme into the song. It's a great song which accompanies a great battle.
Ending Theme
It doesn't get any better than this! The ending theme starts out like a lullaby, then kicks it into high gear with an infectious melody that you won't soon forget. It's extremely upbeat, enjoyable, inspiring, and simply perfect. And just when you think the song will loop, it continues into a second part which returns back to the classic Kirby theme as if for an encore. Amazing!
