Good morning Pixlpeeps! In about two minutes or so I have to flip over a record I’m copying to my computer so I will have to stop for a couple of minutes. Well that was fun, anyways I did some sorting over the weekend and I have five square slots in a shelving unit reserved for lp’s and out of the five I have either copied over, sealed copies, or already have the album on CD. I also have maybe two stacks of 20/30 ish on the floor that have yet to be copied. I’m excited because almost all of my vinyl will now be digitized. The one part I am not looking forward to is the shoebox full of 45s. Anyways the record talk is reserved for Friday’s blog entries and today is all about video games.

So you folks going to watch the E3 stuff? I’ll probably catch Sony’s presentation, live tweet about it, and maybe complain. I guess the fun started yesterday, but I really didn’t care because what is EA going to really show me? “New” features on Madden, and sequels everyone is going to go nuts over because it looks really good only to have the switcheroo come release time. There was one thing I was really excited for that was revealed before E3 and that is new content for Lego Dimensions. I’m interested to see how the new fun packs play out but I’m more excited about being able to add this to my Lego collection

I pity the fool who doesn’t like B.A. Baracus. Oh Iron Man, BA, and Batman is one hell of a trio in the Lego Universe.

Mount Backlog is keeping me busy and I can say I finished off one piece of DLC on Sunday

All I did was go back through Free Play and collect everything I needed to earn the final trophy in what I believe is the final piece of DLC for Lego Marvel Avengers. Once I finish Black Panther and Doctor Strange, this game goes on the PS4 pile that my younger cousins can look through and keep what they want.

In other games I’ve been playing

Project Cars – PS4: I finished another Kart Circuit and I think I’m moving up to a bigger engine division. Think Mariokart. Anyways it takes me a couple of minutes to get used to the steering in this game which means a couple of restarts. Hopefully soon video game Chris moves up to actual cars.

NBA 2K15 – PS4: I’m getting closer to having enough credits to buy the Milwaukee Bucks and run the team how I want it run instead of trying to constantly stockpile draft picks. Seriously why the need for multiple 1st Round Picks when I already have a solid starting five, and a deep bench?

NCAA Football 14 – PS3: I fired this game up after not playing for a week, and it looks like Texas A&M is in a good spot. Finish out the regular season strong, and they are in the SEC Championship game. I’ll probably play it on Friday.

Just Cause 3 – Steam: I’m 13 hours in and I’ve probably played four missions. I enjoy this game much more when I’m just running around causing havoc. After watching more mod videos on YouTube I decided to give a couple a try because why wait until after I finish the game? I’m currently using the no intro, unlimited ammo, and unlimited beacon mods which is as close to god mod as you can get (also I skip that long into screen) and it makes the invading of bases a lot easier. I still get into trouble but now I don’t have to fly away, find some ammo and then come back.

I’ve also run into a glitch in the game. One of the missions I have to use the tether to open items (tether the door to something solid and have it pull) and after a couple of them the screens starts to flicker and the fps drops to 20. Thank goodness I haven’t seen that since that mission.

Fight Night Round 3 – PSP: I’ve gone back to this game because it’s a lot of fun. I’m starting a new career with my new boxer Kenny Loggins

#DangerZone

I fought one match and Kenny knocked him out in the 3rd Round.

Word Search + - iOS: A little backstory, I bought this game almost a year ago with the sole intention of playing it on a flight, and I got through the Tiny, and Easy puzzles and halfway through the medium puzzles. Well when I bought my laptop I had to sync my iPad with this laptop so everything on it got erased and I forgot about this game. A little while ago I started playing it again and its been the game I play either before I go to bed or after I wake up. Well I finished the Tiny and Easy Puzzles again and I have just started Medium. I think at my current pace I will finish the Hard and Extreme puzzles before my next trip. Good thing is that there is another pack that’s available that I haven’t purchased so I’ll have something to play while waiting for my flight.

During one of my games I spotted this

Check out the bottom line.

Alright Pixlbit I am off. Right in the middle of writing this entry I went to the gym, jumped into the shower, and now I’m ready to eat so have a good one, and enjoy the E3 coverage.

That’s all for now, more later!

-Chris

I just finished Microsofts conference, there are a few titles that im aiming for pre order.

ReCore, Scalebound, and maybe Sea of Thieves.

I say maybe for SOT because I was for a odd reason expecting a pirate RPG title. That was the vibe I got I guess when they first announced it. THe gameplay looks fine but Im gonna wait before I say a definite yes. Im gonna catch Ubisofts and Sonys Conferences later. Yesterday I was pretty happy with Bethesda but EA was bleh other than Fe.

After hearing about the XBox games being on PC, I need to check out what Microsoft offered. There maybe a couple of games that I want to give a spin on PC. I missed EA's because there really wasn't anything I wanted to hear from them.

Not really interested in E3. We'll see what comes out of Sony and Nintendo but I'm not going to bother to watch live.

Overall I'm not big on E3 either, but it seems like I've been watching what Sony has been releasing for a while now so why stop. Thank goodness for YouTube, I can see what I missed

Watched MS conference live on Monday. Was going to watch Sony's live too but got carried away in Minecraft. Maybe I'll catch up with both Sony and Nintendo sometime this week.

I'm not as interested in this year's E3 as I have been in previous years, which is surprising.  I'm curious to see what they'll do with the LEGO Dimensions expansion, though.  Hope I get to review some of that!

From what I've been reading they're just going to update the main game, to include the new stuff. I like this approach because it saves me from dropping another $100 on a new starter. There are so many new Packs I want to get just for the minifigures.

E3 has never really interested me. Especially when I don't own anything that is current gen other than my 3DS.

I got caught up in the hype years ago, and now the tradition is watching Sony's presser. Other than that, I'll just casually hear about through podcasts or on social media.
