I didn't get into Doom. I actually ended up getting rid of it. IDK why either, it just didn't click with me.
Love the picture Blake, you look amazing!

Ok, there's still more E3 shit to cover, but fuck that. I've been playing things, watching things, and just all round have some things to say. I'll get back to E3 tomorrow, because there are still some seriously interesting games to cover, but for now, let's talk about games that are out.
Factorio
If you're anything like me, you looked at the above picture and ran for the hills. The trailer doesn't help unless the smell of oil and burning metal makes you feel things you haven't felt since you saw this picture of me:
However, despite the game looking as impenetrable as Brock Turner's thick fucking skull, it's actually fairly simple. It starts off somewhat similar to don't starve, or minecraft, with you doing some mining and chopping down a tree. After about 10 minutes you get sick of that and set up drills that are powered by coal, which you then make a coal drill and some conveyer belts to automatically power everything and you feel like engineering Jesus.
Then some aliens come and fuck everything up so you build walls, then you build turrets to protect those walls, and then you build assembly plants to build bullets for the turrets, then you build conveyer belts to get all the bullets to all the guns, and then you make it loop back in on itself and make everything self contained and -
Look. If you ever enjoyed progression loops and puzzles with a million solutions and actively despise your free time and wish it would simply vanish, this is the game for you. If it leaves Early Access this year, it will definitely be in my top 10 of the year.
Alienation
Do you like Diablo, but wish it had guns and required a LOT more skill? Well this is the game for you! This is a top down twin stick shooter with loot, and it is fun as hell! You can play it in co-op, which is all well and good if you're a fucking pussy, because real men play in solo where you have to dodge and weave through your enemies, prioritise the largest threats, and think quick if you want to survive.
Alternately, if you want to chicken out and play Co-op, make sure you do it with me so we can play on higher difficulties and get the best loot in town.
This game is just so god damn satisfying and fun to play, I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quick action fix.

That's about it. I really wanted to talk about those two games. Oh, and I finished DOOM! and I love it now. It took about a quarter of the game for me to warm to it, but once I did I was so enamoured that I finished it a second time.
I felt the same way and was actually going to trade it in. After i faced the first barron of hell my opinion changed greatly though.
And i dont know about anazing haha. That was the night i learned high heels and fishnet stockings are literally the devil.
