I'm glad someone else appreciates the glory days of the psone as well!
Where did all these RPGs come from?

2016 has been a sucky year for politics and celebrity deaths. But it's been a damn fine year for RPGs.
So far over the past few months I've had RPG goodness from sources as diverse as Square Enix, Tecmo Koei, Namco, Sega, Falcom/Xseed, Nintendo, Atlus, Bethesda, Sony, and more. I've been enjoying titles like Final Fantasy Type-0, Tales of Zestiria, Nights of Azure, Atelier Sophie, Xenoblade Chronicles X, and Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE. Three of my four favorite games of all time (FFVII, Twilight Princess, and Valkyria Chronicles) have gotten re-releases on contemporary hardware. And there's still an asston of games to look forward to later in the year and into 2017, starting with Star Ocean 5, I am Setsuna, and Cosmic Star Heroine.
I haven't seen this much RPG goodness since the glory days of the PS1 era. And I am lovin' it.
Peace out, y'all. Off for some more TMS #FE...
