Final Fantasy VII HD for PS4 Confirmed!

Move over FFX HD, the big boy is in town!

It’s official! According to Hironobu Sakaguchi’s English Twitter feed, the creator of Final Fantasy series has confirmed he’ll be working with SquareEnix, in a supporting role, on the Final Fantasy VII HD remake now scheduled for the PS4! If you’ll recall Final Fantasy fans have been waiting for the official word on a Final Fantasy VII remake ever since they saw the PS3 tech demo of the original game’s intro.

I count myself as one who awaited official word of Final Fantasy VII coming back in HD glory. Not because of the game itself but because I’d FINALLY be able to see my lovely Tifa Lockhart in full 1080p, high definition, polygonal glory! Now I can play with control her see her in the game just like how I saw her in Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, but in her original pre-Advent Children outfit! *growl*

I’m so ecstatic over the news I made a video of myself going all “Final Fantasy Fanboy” about the greatest final fantasy game ever made! Won’t you all join me? My prayers for Tifa Lockhart Final Fantasy VII HD have been answered!
