ReCore, Should I Be Worried?

So I noticed ReCore dropped from 59.99 to 39.99. Since I have Amazon Prime and get so much off New games that's takes it to like 34$ something. Should I be concerned? Now I know Mighty No. 9 hasn't been what people expected of it but I'd like to think Microsoft would be on top of things and keep ReCore in check from being a complete disaster especially since its the first fall release exclusive. A lot of people have said they it dropped because it's a new IP and their worried people won't buy it at 60$. The game looked like a lot of fun, now I'm unsure!

They announced that all the way back at E3 before MN9 came out. MS released $40 games before too with Banjo-Kazooie N&B and Viva Piñata. I think it'll be fine.

I didn't even notice they had dropped the price at E3. I pre-ordered it that day and it was still 60$.

They announced it at the press conference though. Remember seeing it there and reading it later that day.

With Inafune on the team I wouldn't keep my hopes up.

The price of a game is not indicative of its quality.  Look at Ratchet and Clank, that was only 40$, but it was also amazing.  I think that the price change could be MS exploring the mid-tier game

Definitely agree with ya, I've played several games that were cheaper on release and we're good. I'm hoping with recore that's horrid goes.

I wouldn't be too worried.  I think Mid-tier games are going to increase in popularity.

I guess so. Someone on a Amazon question mentioned the industry is having a difficult time selling a new IP at 60$ so I wonder if that also plays a part in it.
