Mortal Kombat X was a really good game. 

I just beat it last night on my friend's PS4.  The story had me lost in parts but it did make sense and the ending...ending was really good.

 

I was happy to finally beat the newest MK. I have been playing since 1. And 4 is such a lousy game I wasn't even sure why I tried to beat it in the arcade. I never did. This MK though had such incredible graphics and a very smooth fighting engine. So I was very happy and I have always been a diehard MK fan. So I am not even sure how they will top this game. Because I heard the last MK was really, really, good. So yeah! 

Thoughts?

is it in 3D or is it a 2D fighter?

Well as you can guess, I'm not into MK games.  But I do have three favorite characters.  Reptile, Sonya, and Jade.  But only because they wear green and I like green.  Sorry for the pointless comment, but you did ask for thoughts. :)
