I liked this game a lot on PC, but it chugged a little with framerate and performance for some reason. I hope to see better quality and it seemed to work well with a controller before. I want to give this game a try again. Is anyone else going to play this game? It seems to be solo friendly. I love the D&D world so a themepark experience is fine for casual play. It's supposed to have all the content to date for free and you get a special mount for finishing tutorial. I will be playing this week.

I think I remember my brother playing this. I'm not sure. I just don't have time for MMOS or I would play FFXIV more....

I've tried to get into this multiple times but I alwasy bounced off it. I think it's the combat honestly. It's action combat, but it doesn't feel anywhere near fluid enough. Plus, it feels more overbearing than most to begin with once it dumps you in that huge city. Idk, I might give it another go.

Yeah. The game combat is somewhere in-between old school hot-key cooldowns and the more current fluid action combat. I dont have a problem with old school automatic combat, thats kind of the way Dragon Age Inquisition felt too. This seems more casual friendly linear fetch quest, from what I've played.
I'm also playing Riders of Icarus Beta which lets you catch enemies to use as pets or mounts. It also has mounted combat, but the game only has 5 classes and it seems designed for party-based gaming.

I'm also playing through the Paragon beta on PS4. I actually like it for some reason?

I'm waiting for Star Trek Online to come out on PS4 later in the year. I'm in an MMO mood for some reason. Usually during summer.

Maybe you can join me in one of these games. Riders of Icarus is on PC.

ok well my

PSN id is sharky_321 and my
Neverwinter handle is ATTAMI@SHARKY_321
I've been playing neverwinter since launch and casually jump in and play.
I have a Paladin lvl 20.

As for Riders of Icarus, I have one char on each of the 3 servers, so let me know if you ever play that game so I can add you to friends list.

Also, is it worth to get the upgrade for Guild Wars 2 or buy Elder Scrolls Online for PS4? Neverwinter seems to be giving me what I want right now, and I still have to finish Dragon Agi INQ.

You mean Heart of Thorns? I like it a lot. It's hard as fuck, but there's a lot of new stuff. I didn't really like ESO though, so I'm not the best to ask.

Alright, I'll have to wait a week for my internet cap to reset though. In the meantime, I started playing Black Desert Online, which definitely has the best MMO combat hands down, though I'm not conviced about the questing.

Black Desert looks gorgeous, but I doubt my PC rig can handle it. It's also like $30 and I can't demo it, so I'll just have to wait for content patches and price drops, possibly new PC rig. BD seems to have a vague open world approach to questing, which seems kind of odd. Not sure if it's unfinished or intentional.

My wife might be interested in this. She's put a crap ton of time into Elders Scrolls Online on the PS4

The game is pretty streamlined and straightforward. It feels a bit like Dragon Age Inquisition. So far I'm soloing and haven't had any real problems just doing sidequests.

I am really happy this came to PS4. Back when I had a PS4 and not a Xbone I really wanted to play Neverwinter. Im a big reader of the Forgotten Realms novels. However my PC counldnt handle it the best so I pretty much didnt have a way to access it. I hope you enjoy it, I need to jump back on it but I got side tracked by some new releases.

I had a similar issues with performance on PC. So far the game has frozen a couple of times, but it was very busy on launch day and surprisingly not that many problems for a launch. I've seen a lot of people in chat saying this game is a nice distraction from DCU Online. It plays very much like a single player RPG, except for dungeons, but I was able to beat the first one with randoms without needing to chat. Very hack-n-slashy gamey. I'll keep playing off and on until Star Trek Online launches on PS4 later in the year.
