I keep trying to finish more games than I acquire, but I am weak of will...
Had a $50 Gamestop gift card left over from Christmas that I finally spent a couple of weeks ago. I was looking for Lego Jurassic World and Lego Marvel's Avengers, but the store I went into didn't have either one used, and isn't selling new PS3 or 360 gmes anymore. I ended up with Front Mission Evolved and Ratchet and Clank Future: A Crack in Time for the PS3, Assassin's Creed 3 and some Nat Geo game for the 360, and a 3DS game called Lord of Magna: Maiden Heaven, which appears to be a SRPG. I got home and discovered that the Nat Geo game wasn't the game I thought it was and requires a Kinect to play, so that one will find a new home. I don't feel too bad, I only spent about $2 on it. I had a few bucks left over on the card, but I didn't feel like giving Gamestop any more of my time, effort, or money, so I gave it to one of my nephews.
A few days later, I needed to run some errands, and had to go into Target. Of course I had to wander through the games and movies section. Picked up Lego Jurassic World for my 360 and the Bourne Collection on BluRay. And later, during a trip into Good Will, I picked up Sly Cooper 4 and a blue PS3 controller and a charging cable for $11 total.
I'm still in the middle of Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World at home, and playing Fantasy Life when I'm on the go. I also caved and played through Lego Jurassic World in its entirety last week. More on that later in a Late to the Party blog.
I still hadn't seen Jurassic World before I played the game, so I had an idea of what was going to happen in the movie when I watched it the other night. Just with less Lego and more blood and casualties.
Well, I'm done here for now. I need to decide if I'm going to do something constructive with my day, or if I'm just going to say "forget it" and go back to playing games. Being as it is now after noon here, I have a feeling gaming will win out...
