PixlBit

You may have noticed that things around PixlBit have been a bit quiet lately. Though life has been generally crazy, I do have some big changes going on in the backend of the site. I've made a few stealth updates since the last Changelog post I've done and this new one is going to be a doozy.

Essentially I'm reworking the entire game database that the site uses to make it more streamlined and cleaner than what it is today. When that's all done, it's going to open up a number of avenues to improve and extend functionality of the site.

As a matter of fact, it's new functionality that motivated me to reassess this portion of the system from the get-go. Our Game Collection system is functional, but it's not too fancy and it's not all that robust. I'm going to be really beefing that thing up in the coming weeks and when it's done I expect it to be a lot more useful and more well-integrated into the rest of the site.

As far as exactly what I have cooking for that, well, you'll just have to wait and see!
