I'm lucky that I don't have too much of a backlog, but it would be nice to figure out where the hell I'm at and where to go in some of my games so I can finally beat them.
Glad you enjoyed Halo 4.

I finished the halo 4 campaign this morning. It was one of the most satisfying campaigns that I have played in recent memory. In fact, I may rank it second as far as my favourite halo campaign.
In reality, I should have finished the game a long time ago, but I fell in love with the multiplayer at launch, and had to finish prepping for a wedding. Since I have finished the campaign, I am uncertain as wo what game I want to tackle next. My backlog is far smaller than it could have been. I got rid of most of my ps3 collection last year. Since I decided not to replace my ps3 that died almost a year ago, it made little sense to save all of those games. I did hold onto my naughty dog, and insomniac games just in case I get a ps3 for cheap in the future.
I currently have a small collection of wii game and xbox games that I have not played through completely. On the xbox, I have the mgs HD collection, the crysis games, alpha protocol and a handful of random xbla games. On the wii I have the metroid prime collection, the kirby collection, and donkey kong country returns. There must be more games in my backlog, but I just cannot think of them right now.
I loved Halo 4. I was disappointed with Halo 3: ODST and I didn't even bother with Halo: Reach, so I was really glad that Halo 4's campaign was so good. I couldn't put it down.
I bought the last two map packs for it on multi, but I haven't had a chance to get together with my friends and have a Halo night. I can't wait though, because the multi is also solid.
Halo 4 is great. My wife and I played through it and still hop on multiplayer sometimes. We talk about playing the campaign on a harder difficulty but haven't done it yet.
I am very envious of your copy of the Metroid Prime Trilogy. The first Metroid Prime is my favorite game ever but I was a poor college student when the Trilogy came out and couldn't afford to get it. Now it's super expensive
i think that i had just finished up college when the trilogy came out. I find that the weekly challenges give me enough reason to play through the campaign on heroic.
Last weeks challenge was any level, heroic or higher, mythic skull. It was quite frustrating, but I learned to love the covenant carbine.
We haven't bothered with the challenges at all but I wish we would. Weekly replayability would be nice. Our main problem is that our 8-month-old son is going through a very needy phase on top of teething and whatnot. Makes it difficult for both of us to do something at the same time
