I finally figured out how to add the funds from my nintendo card to my 3DS. Felt kind of like an idiot when I realized how easy it was. Bought the Origin Island DLC for Fantasy Life, Luxor, and tried getting Super Mario Bros 3, but my battery was low and it wouldn't let me buy it. That's just stupid, by the way. I haven't been able to finish downloading anything other than the DLC for Fantasy Life because I haven't been anywhere with wi-fi since I bought the games.
I'm loving the Origin Island DLC. It gives you higher level caps, and a whole new area to explore, plus you can get new ranks for your Lives. Now if I could just manage to find some dragon scales to finish off my Dragon Armor, I'd be a happy little ranger.
Mothman gave me his download key for Okami HD, and I downloaded that and stayed up too late the other night playing it. It was pretty on the PS2, and with the upgraded graphics, it's absolutely gorgeous.
I finally got past the last fight with Alice and Decus in Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World. Took some serious grinding and evolving of some of my monsters, but I did it. Now to finish up the game and move on to something else.
Jason and I picked up Bandit's ashes on Tuesday. We then went to Crescent Beach State Park and took Bandit for a last walk on the beach. No, we didn't scatter his ashes there, we just walked the urn up and down the beach. He'll join Clancy and Caitlin in the loft until I have a piece of land of my own. Or maybe someone can just stick them in the casket with me when I go. Whatever.
I have happy news, too. I just finalized the adoption of another dog. He's a little brown mutt between 10 months and a year old. I adopted him from the rescue that Bandit's foster mom in Tennessee does rescue work for, because I wanted to have a dog that she'd fostered. I know he'll be in good hands until I take delivery at the end of this month. I named him Beau. I have a photo, but it's on my facebook page and I can figure out how to get it into my blog, but I can't figure out how to resize it and I'm feeling too under the weather to mess around with it right now. Allergies suck.
Alright, Pixlbit Nation, I'm going to go nap on the couch until the meds kick in and make me feel better.
