Hello everyone, how are you? Sorry for the late update, but here's the Nintendo Direct Recap thing. As usual, watch the video or just read a brief summary of the announcements:

            Alolan Rattata

First off, Alolan Rattata was announced, which is the Alola region's regional variant of the Pokemon Rattata. Basically Trump forced all the Rattata's out of their territory or something and now they are like this. I don't know know, but I'm loving all of these new forms of older Pokemon. Then again, I'm the only one who cares about this anyway, so moving on...

 Yoshi's Woolly World 3DS

The 3DS is getting a port off the Wii U game, Yoshi's Wooly World. It arrives next year February and a Poochy amiibo was announced, which does more things in the game. So if you don't buy it, you're out of luck. It will be sold by itself or as a bundle with the game, just like on the Wii U. But wait, that's not the only game Nintendo is porting tot he 3DS, wait for it.....

......

.......

.........

...........

Super Mario Maker 3DS

Super Mario Maker, you know the game Nintendo was pushing really hard on the Wii U last year? The game they were convincing you that you needed a Wii U for? Well guess what, it's coming to the 3DS! Yay! *sarcasm* Which is fine and all, the thing is that it's basically a butchered version of the Wii U version. You can do nearly everything the Wii U version did. Except there will be some assets you can't use, no amiibo costumes, and you can't share levels online. Obviously the assets thing is understandable because limitations. The amiibo thing, I'm not too sure since you can use them on the New 3DS, though you might unlock them from the challenge mode. But no online sharing is dumb.

One of the main things about the game is making your own Mario levels, then getting it taken down if it's offensive. Or if you are terrible at making things, you can just head online and try other makers creations and lose terribly at them. If you can't upload or play online levels, then what's the point? You can share levels via streetpass on the 3DS, which is fine, but how many of you even bother with it? If you don't go to a convention or a relay, then you're basically missing out on half the game. I'll be honest with you, Mario Maker looks like a game that is really well suited for the 3DS, like it was made for it, making your levels anywhere you want at anytime instead of hogging the tv is a great idea. It's perfect for those who don't want or have a Wii U. But not sure how I feel about missing features. But it'll sell no doubt. Maybe they'll update it. Quickly, something that'll take my mind off this...WW amiibo

8-Bit Link amiiboOoT amiibo

Hooray, more amiibos! Now everything is all better. I have forgotten that I was upset about Mario Maker 3DS! But I just typed about it again and now I'm more upset. Anyway, in honor of celebrating Zelda's 30th anniversary, Nintendo is releasing a new line of 30th anniversary Zelda amiibos! From Link's 8-bit appearance, to his appearance in Ocarina of Time, to my favorite, Wind Waker. I have them all on pre-order already. They'll release on December 2nd along with another game not related to Zelda at all...

Mario Sports Superstars

A new Mario sports game. Yeah, it's definitely related to Zelda. I remember that time when Link and Mario teamed up to stop Ganondorf and Bowser, which totally did happen in Brawl. Just like that time they just shoved Metroid under a rug and pretend it doesn't exist. Which actually did happen. Anyway, the game will have multiple sports and Camelot is handling golf and tennis so you know it's going to be good. It also uses amiibo because of course it does.

And finally, our memelord Bill showed us the surprise announcement...

Pikmin 3DS

Pikmin 3DS, which is coming next year on 3DS. Basically it's a 2d sidescrolling game that's like Kirby Mass Attack. Some people are comparing it to Chibi-Robo Zip Lash, who knows? It looks neat though. I highly doubt this is Pikmin 4, it could be a spin-off but it's definitely worth a look.

Other announcements:

Hyrule Warriors Legends got new dlc that you can now play as Link and Zelda from Spirit Tracks.

Buy Pokemon Sun and Moon early and you'll get a special Munchlax Pokemon for your game.

Ever Oasis still has a tentative 2017 release. Really excited for that.

Tank Troopers n coming to the 3DS, which looks like Splatoon with tanks

New Picross game is on the eShop

New streetpass plaza update also gives you a free streetpass game

Animal Crossing: New Leaf is getting an amiibo update, probably to sell the abundance of AC amiibos nobody wants.

Skyward Sword is out on the Wii U eShop, which is funny as this direct was only focusing on the 3DS. If you're curious, do yourself a favor, don't.

Final thoughts: I'm surprised at the ports of Wii U games for the 3DS. I guess it would make them more money actually and will extend the life of the 3DS. Plus it does hint that the NX might play 3DS games and the fact that Nintendo plans to support the 3DS till 2018, so it's possible. I definitely would of loved a port of Kirby and the Rainbow Curse on the 3DS. That would of made more sense. My brother is a huge Kirby fan, and when he says there's problems with it, then I know something is wrong with the game. Plus I've seen him play it and can see what the problems are. The thing is in Rainbow Curse, you can't look at the amazing visuals because you're using the gamepad to play it. Would make more sense on the 3DS just like Canvas Curse on the 3DS.

Maybe even a port of Captain Toad while we are at it. It uses gyro controls for the camera, and the 3DS has that, so it shouldn't be too hard to port. Maybe as a digital title. I wouldn't be surprised if we get more ports of Wii U games on the 3DS. I wouldn't mind a Xenoblade X, Wind Waker, and Twilight Princess port though. Though I'm honestly surprised Splatoon didn't get a 3DS port...

Well that's about it. Sorry if I didn't type this the day they announced these things, I just wasn't really feeling up to typing it it. But it's here now. Well thanks for reading and later.

Yeah! Pikmin 3DS! I'll be getting that. I wonder if my Olimar amiibo will do anything in the game.

I'll probably skip out on Mario Maker 3DS.  They probably only made it since the 3DS is way more popular than the Wii U.  I would skip out on the port of Yoshi's Woolly World, but they HAD to put a new amiibo in there... :)
