Yay! Welcome, Elkovsky. I always enjoyed your in depth NES reviews when I was blogging at 1up. You have many friends here!
The NES Completionist finds a new home

Many of you here may know that 1UP.com is in the process of winding down - a site that's been something of a home for me for the past three-and-a-half years. When I first started blogging there in August 2009, I owned a mere 71 NES games and had set forth to blog about each and every one of them; today, 140+ games and 90+ reviews later, my NES collection is now at over 500 titles, and I've expanded that journey to the entire NES library - or, more specifically, non-pirate and non-homebrew titles released in the United States during the system's lifespan, from the launch in October 1985 to the release of Sunday Funday in 1995/1996. That's around 750 or so titles, and I might die before reaching the goal! But hey, it never hurts to try.
My original blog is below, and for the time being, it's the best place to go for old reviews. In the coming weeks, though, I'll be backing up my site and putting these blogs in some sort of archived format for download - probably in PDF form - and picking up with review #97 (Mike Tyson's Punch-Out) as soon as I get it written.
So yeah... the original blog:
Because of general life busyness, I sometimes update my Twitter more often than my blog, so you can follow my completion there as well - @Elkovsky. I'll try to keep this space semi-updated throughout the transition, but for the time being, feel free to click the link above and browse my old reviews for a sample of what is to come. Looking forward to getting settled here and getting to know some of you! Stay tuned for plenty of obsessively detailed NES coverage.
