I Normally Wouldn't Ask But...

Finished that project and put it in article form for publishing. According to WhatCulture's rules, everything I publish for them has to be exclusive to that website, so I can't put it on here. Sadly. So check it out here if you're interested.

And the fact that I can't post things in both places doesn't really faze me. I'll just continue putting my more...."passionate" ramblings on here. Best of both worlds really. And if you do read that article, do me a favor and like it, or share it on twitter, or +1 it if you're on Google+. I'd really appreciate it.

Very cool, enjoyable read. Would have preferred on one or two pages, but that's the website's fault, not yours.

Resource Management stood out to me, as the way I come to it in games mirrors how I do it in life: hoard all the money and items until absolutely needed.

The fact you got published is great in and of itself. Congrats!

Yeah that's pretty irritating. Wish there was some way around that. Thanks for reading.

hey good stuff, Britt!   Very pro.  But don't let your more... passionate stuff get forgotten about when you're a star. Actually, I was just thinking the other day I wanted to play FFVIII again.  I know it sucks, and I know you know it sucks, but dammit, I love that game!

Ohhh The Final Fantasy VIII Challenge. Don't worry, I will always consider that my best work hahaha. Maybe one day that'll make a comeback.

Good article. I left a comment on the site but it didn't stick? Anyway, I just mentioned that it's an interesting approach to look at games from a non entertainment only POV. I mentioned some puzzle games like Layton and reference to some MOBAs that require team work.

Yup it stuck! Thanks!

Very awesome!  I could tell you put a lot of thought into that.

It was actually about a 6 hour project. Spread out of course. Thanks for reading!

Really interesting article, you've clearly given that a lot of thought and the result looks very professional, good show!

Great article and so true. My expirience with video games has spured my interest in mythology, other cultures (Japanese in particular), and even the technology that makes video games possible.

That was a great article. Made me think of all I have learned from playing games. And it's a long list! My son learns all sorts of stuff about nature, animals, history, geography, you name it. And he's only been a gamer for 10 years. Games get him interested in things and then he reads up on them.
