Cleared the Alltrades Abbey Story Today

40 hours of Dragon Questing and I finished the past and present sections of the Alltrades Abbey story.

I can now switch jobs so my 3 party members are a warrior, a mage and a martial artist.

I'm still amazed by what they were able to cram into the little 3DS cartridge. I'm loving the large 3D environments and the exploration.

I'm sure I have a long way to go yet. I haven't even opened up the whole world yet.Lots of value here. Now lets see how many vocations I can master.

you're way ahead of me. But I'm chipping away at it slowly. I just love the look of it. It's such a pleasant world to disappear into, and it's so simple, but it has this earnest heartfelt quality that is really neat.

I need to get this game. I have the PS1 version but it doesn't look this nice.

Jobs? Did I miss something or is this something that unlocks later on?

You have to clear Alltrades Abbey in the past to get the jobs (vocations). Until you do that the game hasn't actually started. :)

Ha ha! That's funny because I'm over 17 hours into the game so far. Does that beat some of those Final Fantasy games for long preludes? I think it might.

I'm at 50 hours now. I have the vocations and the Style/Strength/Wisdom contest open. I still need to figure out how I get to the mini medals trading place. I know where it is but I can't access it right now.
