Were you playing Sleeping Dogs on console or PC? Just curious. I love the game, and it's not normally a genre I play. And yes, you do need that trophy, I had a hard time getting it, the easiest place is in the club that has the aquarium, by the way. I think one of my favorite things was carjacking armored trucks.

On Saturday I felt it was time to finish off Sleeping Dogs (actually I just happened to click on the stats and saw that I was only a couple of missions away from finishing the main game) so I spent maybe a couple of hours finishing off the last couple of missions instead of running around doing all the random side missions, and finding the heath shrines. Overall the game was fun. It was a poor man's Grand Theft Auto set in Hong Kong with a lot of wrong way driving. There were some issues with the game but there were some positives.
The story wasn't that bad. I got attached to some characters and I felt the need for in the words of Sterling Archer....RAMPAGE! Oh it was fun and it wasn't as GTA. I liked that most of the fighting involved martial arts with a lot of countering. It would have been a lot more fun if I was able to walk into some of those fights with a weapon. Side missions were fun and the developers handled the dating feature much better than the ones I've tried in GTA IV and San Andreas where it was a lot of work. Here it was one date, do something simple and then you're rewarded with some sleezely Skinamax music and then the date unlocks the locations of the hidden items like Health Shrines, Money cases, and statues. One of my favorites is the races. It brought a little Fast and Furious into the game with races throughout the city. A bit of a spoiler: if you can use a police vehicle and race with the lights on. Cars move out of your way.
The negatives I encountered were the handling of vehicles could be better (A LOT BETTER). Some vehicles felt like I was driving on ice, while others felt like quicksand. Someplace in between would have been fine. I encountered a glitch at the end where the machine gun sound kept playing during the second half of the final mission, and aiming your weapon needs work.
I'm currently playing through the Year of the Snake which is ok, except it would have been nice to be able to use the items I unlocked within single player, but I guess it's supposed to be almost like a stand alone game like Saints Row's Gat out of Hell. I don't know if I'm going to play the Zombie DLC because the whole Zombie craze is just stupid but it is the Halloween season so I might give it a try. I don't know if I want to finish up finding all the hidden items and play through the secondary stuff in the main game. I finished the main story, the cop cases, and I have a handful of races left. I'm unsure if I want to tackle the favors and other randoms like fight 20 guys with weapons and other items like that. I did see that you get a trophy for killing a man with a fish, and I'd like to give that a whirl. Anyways Sleeping Dogs is a fun game, and worth the $8 I paid for it. It had some problems, but overall the experience was good and I got to go all RAMPAGE so I give it an A-.
Other games I'm playing
I want to finish the main storyline in GTA V but I can't get the prompt to appear. Either I went too fast, or something happened when I added a car mod, but for now I'm just rolling around Los Santos and super jumping onto buildings.
I think the next game I'll tackle is to finally finish Rise of the Tomb Raider. I'm nowhere near the end but I did buy this game during the Summer Sale and since I invested $30 I should finish the dang thing.
Alright Pixlpeeps I am off. Have a good week!
That's all for now, more later!
