Hello again my METAL HEADS! I hope you will enjoy todays picks. Now lets get it started.

Out the gate I have Volbeat, this video made me cry. Sure, think I am a punk, I do not care. I went to war and made it back others did not.I get very emotional over the subject matter. So please if you have a rude comment please just keep it to yourself.

A little of Glam but Heavy!

Now something just a little HEAVY! Slow Bang your Head!

Well that is it for today. I hope you enjoyed my picks. Now GO FORTH AND METAL!

What the hell? This is the second time today I've been referenced to Cape of Our Hero, and I've never even heard of Volbeat until about an hour ago.. I guess I'll have to investigate them some more!

On a side note... It's embarrassing to say since I'm a huge Metal Fan, but I've actually been stuck listening to Rap a lot lately these last 3 weeks. But not gangsta rap or anything, there's a YouTuber called Watsky and I just really dig his stuff. He's not gangsta or anything, but he legimately has depth and meaning to all of his songs, plus he has a lot of skill when it comes to speed rap. He also is funny and offbeat with some of his stuff as well.

I can't really explain it though, but I'm just really digging it. He brings the Rhyme and Poetry anagram back into RaP I suppose.

Ugh.. I'm so embarrassed to admit that.. lol!!

Not all Rap is crap. There are some groups that have a art for it. I like groups like Gang Starr and Tribe called quest. Some groups just get stupid with it. Anyway no judging here.

I have some othe Volbeat stuff, they are a really tight band I think. This video is just so moving.

Thanks for stopping by.

It's the depth of positive vibe that really ensnared me. Here's a video of one of my favorite songs, I absolutely love it

Great music today. I saw Volbeat at a club in OKC once. They were outstanding. That Bring Me The Horizon song was my favorite one.

We saw Funeral For A Friend in 2005 in concert when they were supporting some band we went to see. They were really good and we bought their cd called Hours which was new at the time. I really like their guitarists and their melodies they did in that album.

Cape of our hero is really touching. Loved the interaction between the father and son in the video as well as the son hugging his father's uniform as a young adult. Thanks man!

The Volbeat made me tear up, and I haven't been to war and back, so definitely no judgment here!

Escape the Fate had kind of an A7X vibe to it that I liked; I liked their old singer too, I forget what band he moved on to, I just remember I liked whatever song of that band's it was we had in the station.

Great picks today! I'm liking the melodic choices. Like Yargz, I've been listening to rap more often lately (mostly Macklemore and Immortal Technique) but metal never dies. m/

I actually like them better than A7X, the lead singer for A7X naselly singing gets under my skin. I would like them better if they had a new lead singer because the band its self is great.

Thanks for stopping by.

Anyone who has served in war has my respect. I wish they could all make it back. The thing that makes me sad and a bit angry is how our vets are not getting the care they deserve. Especially the ones who have basically given up years of their lives. They should not have to wait months on end for benefits.
