Nice drawings! That beat up pickup truck reminds me of crime scenes from a few of the southern crime novels I've been reading lately.
I really loved the atmosphere of The Evil Within. I do remember it all feeling like a lucid nightmare, a bunch of RE set pieces surgically stitched together, bleeding at the seams and quite enjoyed it for being a mess. The only real issue I had with it was the sneak mechanics which I didn't really care for. I though the set pieces were beautifully gross.
November, November....

Damn that was quick, so many games coming out this month. I'm really looking forward to Final Fantasy XV, it crazy to think its been ten years since the game was announced. The last two demos do kind of make me worried about the performance of the game. I'm just wondering now, if there will be any sort of boost or stability in framerate if played on the PS4 Pro. That's another thing, I'm kind of on the fence on getting the PS4 Pro. On one hand, I don't have a 4k television and one the other, the possibility that some games might run better with the extra processing power of the PS4 Pro. It would be nice to get FFXV on the PC but that seems unlikely for a while.
The Nintendo NX was revealed to the Nintendo Switch, which looks like a very sexy looking device. Other than that I don't really have much to say other than I can't wait for March 2017.
Games that I've been playing as of lately.
Well I just finished playing The Evil Within which was a great Resident Evil game but with mostly meaningless imagery. Scary looking monsters for the sake of looking scary.
Nightshade on the PS2/PCSX2. You know what, Shinobi and Nightshade start of as fun games in the earlier levels. Nightshade being easier because you don't have a soul/health sucking sword to deal with. Then the later levels introduce more bottomless pits, more flying enemies and the camera just gets in the way of all the fun. I must of died 30 times in both Level 9 and 10. The level 12 boss put me over the edge, I ended up rage quiting and smashing a controller. I hate breaking controllers.
Fuck this level, seriously.
Titanfall 2- Damn the single player was blast to play, the story was largerly forgettable but the level design and mechanics were amazing. I don't see the horde mode from Titanfall 1 in the multiplayer, hopefully that shows up soon.
Dino Crisis on the Dreamcast- I never played the game before, so I've been running around trying to trigger the next story bits. Not as scary as Resident Evil but still enjoyable.
Finally, Inktober has come to end. Got all 31 drawings done, so here are rest of them.
Check my instagram for the full version of some of my drawings.
Until the next blog.
