Orth pissed me off so bad I included a song dedicated to him in my blog today. Lemmy thinks he's a wanker,and so do I!  Love the artwork and game music. Sabrewulf theme is pretty epic sounding. The other one is highly pleasant and soothing. Almost makes me forget the arrogance of that tool from Microsoft.

Lemmy "would" call him a wanker! I'd pay to see that actually. Aka, Lemmy breaking through Orth's living room on his majestic motorcycle while giving him the finger! lol.

Have you heard Jago's theme from KI Gold? It really pumps me up! Nice job on Dwayne. He's looking great! I don't know who Adam Orth is... but it doesn't sound like I'm missing much lol. To hell with always online bullcrap!

I don't know if you can "test the waters" with something like that this close to launch and completely change it, but then I don't know anything about console making, so who knows?

In any case, when the wi-fi goes out at home, I use my phone's 3G to get online OR play games I downloaded on it... with no internet connection. Also, my vacuum ONLY requires electricity, and not Time Warner. Who sold Orth these phones and vacuums that require internet? They sound expensive and inconvenient. Certainly doesn't encourage me to buy a Windows phone.

Orth kinda butchered his own argument with those dumb comparisons,Joe. lol. You would think MS would be more careful about who they hire but alas,guess not!

I do hope Microsoft listens cause an online only system is just plain stupid, and if they dont listen and launch an idiotic online only system im sorry to say the 720 will be a console with cancer slowy dying with no cure, and then the ps4 will be the king, but in all honesty I cant imagine Microsoft making such an uncertain move when they have an awesome system they can enhance on.

Yeah, Orth was stupid. Maybe you're right and it was a conspiracy of sorts, I don't know. All I know is online console = death.

what medium do you do your art in?  I always assumed they were drawings in pencil ala comic books, but the colors in that look computered.  just curious.

It's a combination deal!

1. Drawn in pencil onto paper

2. Scanned onto computer hard-drive

3. Colored & inked with Manga Studio 4 & Paintshop pro. 9.

I feel like Microsoft is honestly going to fail this next generation. The biggest problem they have, is they don't know how to keep their products seperate. Sony is very good about keeping Playstation things on Playstation, camera things on cameras, tv things for tvs, etc. But Microsoft... oh boy, first 360 gets influences from Windows, then Windows draws on the 360 home screen with all its weird boxes for Windows 8... And none of their stuff is really all that reliable anymore. I know I'm sticking with Sony come the next gen (albeit, I am somewhat of a fanboy. But when you have Neptunia, inFamous, Ratchet, Sly Cooper, Uncharted... I can't help but fan), and I hope whenever you will step into the next gen like everyone else, be it at launch or 4 years down the road, that you'll get a PS4 too, and then we can have some killer multiplayer fun!

At this point I'm leaning more towards the PS4 as well. Granted "Orthy" might simply be a special needs case and not know what's actually going on but I do want to go to the console where more good Jrpgs are. THe 360 started strong with rpgs in general (We got good stuff from the west too like DA: Origins & Mass Effect) but then the PS4 got "special versions" of Bioware games that were better (Aka, dlc included at no extra cost) & the Jrpg well started to dry up quickly back on the microsoft ranch.

The Killer Instinct soundtrack is awesome, my personal favourite is Kim Wu's theme, makes we want to spar against something! As for work: love the addition of colour here Ben, the green and blue work really well together and as always you manage to present your characters in eye catching and dynamic ways, bravo sir!

Glad you enjoyed it, Adam. Dwayne was in the military briefly so I dressed him accordingly! The spikey thing on the arm is an ice shield. I should have mentioned Dwayne has ice attacks but like a dumbass I forgot to. lol.

Ah kind of reminds me of White Wolfos from Zelda Ocarina of Time now you mention it, only more kick ass!

It's just when I think forests and snow I also think about wolves. That's sort of how Dwayne got his element!

It would be interesting having a special military unit that was all werewolves. With their heightened senses they would probably be good at search and rescue. Not to mention, putting a werewolf down is NEVER easy. Bad guys in general would be in for a nasty surprise!

B. Orchid a good one for you Cary. Kim Wu would be another good choice. It's a shame you don't know much about Killer Instinct. I could totally see you digging it! In my opinion it ranks as one of Rare's better games along with DK Kountry and Kameo.

I've been wondering if Orth's Tweets were a way to test the water as well. Am I the only one who noticed that the April 26th Xbox reveal was immediately pushed back to May shortly after his Tweets received all that whiplash?

Either way, I hope they can pull their heads out of their asses.

When I was a kid we had a Nintendo 64 soundtrack compilation CD that had a different arrangement of the Sabrewolf theme. Now I'm curious why lol. It also had some cool songs from Blast Corp, which I never played. Good picks though, and good work on Dwayne. What's that spikey thing on his right arm?

The spikey thing is simply a self created ice shield. I should have mentioned that,derp!

As for KI's sound track, I loved the crap out of it. I remember it came free with the snes version of KI and I probably played it repeatedly to the point my father hated it. lol.

Microsoft won't do it, trust me they won't. The company is not that dumb!

It could be some marketing..aint nothing better than free marketing..With e3 coming around the corner, maybe microsoft wanted some attention to them and not sony going into e3??

I already thought Orth might have been a plant just to drum up controversy. At this point if MS comes forward and says "Seriously, the console is NOT online only!" they'll seem that much cleaner. It would be a good marketing strategy.

I still don't know if I'm going "Nextbox" this generation though. I'll have to wait and see!

Well I am going to have to wait..I can now wait for games..Before I could not wait, i bought a xbox 360 cause i saw gears of war..I was ok guess now is the time to pick up a xbox. I will be waiting for both new systems to come out, and get a library of games going, before i jump in.

Same here! I usually wait for both a price drop and a wider selection of games. Buying a console at launch seems a bit foolhardy.

Microsoft is a lot of things but stupid is not one. They don't want to give Sony the edge. So they might just back off on the whole thing before E3 when it will get tons of press.

I keep reading more and more articles on MS with the next Xbox and something just screams there gonna fuck the competition all to hell. I however will wait till May to fully have my final say, they pushed the conference for the next gen announcement to May now so maybe there taking note of the reactions they got.

I'm hoping so. I'm sure the Nextbox has potential but something like "online only" could really mess it up for a lot of people. (Myself included)

I also hope microsoft has a better relationship with Japanese game companies this generation too! Jrpgs have more or less went the way of handhelds and the PS3.

Orth is no longer with Microsoft.  I've heard he quit and was not fired, but we can put 2and 2 together here.

I think so too. It's good Orth was let go and I can't feign being surprised over it.
