Philharmonic Suite: Finale

Ever wonder what the music of Final Fantasy VII would sound like if John Williams scored a movie adaption of the game? Wonder no longer! No, this isn't John Williams but the remixer here, Jeremy Robson, does an excellent job giving these tunes the grand movie treatment. This big orchestra piece keeps the melodies front and center, which I love, but Robson bridges everything with such skill that you'd never know this is anything other than a single homogenous work. The song continually builds and climaxes, builds and climaxes, but overall has a continuous upward motion. The emotional climax hits around the 4'38" and the following minute really is fantastic. It's good stuff, folks, so give it a listen and let me know what you think!

At first I couldn't figure out what song this was. Then I realized it was like almost every song in the whole game lol. It definitely has a Star Wars vibe going for it at some points. Thanks for sharing Philip.

Yeah, it's kind of a hodgepodge but it's a beautifully crafted hodgepodge lol. Glad you liked it. There is a Part 1 to this Philharmonic Suite and it's good too but I like the Finale better.

Incredible music! That is so good. Combining it like that just makes it more spectacular. Brought it into a whole new light by doing that. Great work!
