Well here is another Off Beat Thursday.

I played a good bit of LotR Legos last week. So far it is okay. I am mixed about the voice overs they did for the game. It sounds like they just laid the voices from the movies over the game. Sounds kinda cheap to me.

I have  max leveled almost all my charecters on Fire Emblem.

I dowloaded Demon Souls yesterday and look forward to playing it.

Now for some Music.

Todays Playlist is HERE. Thanks Tami.

Score! Finally got some bands that I know! I didn't recognize any on Punk Tuesday's list! Have you ever heard of a band called Silent Comedy? They're pretty awesome, I think you'll dig 'em.

Also; you've never played Demon's Souls yet? Oh my... lol

If you need any tips/tricks, hit me up and I'll do what I can to help you out! I just gave Ashley (FAF101) an entire build guide and generic walkthrough!

You should put a little blog of Demon's Souls tips. I just started it last night and wouldn't mind a few pointers lol

Ok! I can definitely do that at some point.

But in order to start, I need a bit of info such as have you played Demon's Souls/Dark Souls before? What type of build are you looking at? Etc etc.

I have not played either of the Souls games before. Not sure what kind of build I want but I started as a Knight, so mostly physical melee stuff I guess.

Great song and band. I love the sound of a Banjo.

And yes I have never played Demon's Souls. My back log has me in its grasps. LOL. I will try it today.

And I'll TRY to get a Demon's Souls Survival Guide up today! Kinda swamped at work, but I think I can work it in!

I figured you would. They did one album and one show, which has been released with the new special edition re-release.

I've been meaning to listen to some Kaki King for awhile now but I've kind of forgotten to. Glad you posted the video.  I can't watch it now, but plan to later.  I saw her on tour with one of my favorite musicians/bands, the Mountain Goats, several years ago and liked what I saw and heard.  They also did an EP together that I enjoy, but I never got around to listening to her solo stuff.

She can play the Hell out of that guitar. I first heard her on Echos on NPR. I bought a couple of her albums, so far I really enjoy them.

I started Demon's Souls last night for the first time. Died quite a few times trying to get a handle the combat lol but once I did I beat the first boss. Liking it so far Smile

They will be close to us shortly. I wish my wife and I could go but it is not in the budget this month. They are a great band.

Cool music, that is just what I needed. Heard of them all except for Kaki King. What a fine bit of guitar playing that was. I have always preferred Thin Lizzy's version of that song over others, including the Metallica cover. I love The Lumineers so much! I hope they will play Tulsa at some point, maybe at Cain's Ballroom. The Mad Season song was great. Layne Staley  always impressed me anytime I heard him sing. What a loss. Least I got to see him live once. Kinda reminds me of how I felt about Temple Of The Dog. A supergroup of very talented guys who created a very special album.

Heard the Mad Season song all the time growing up, older brother was really into that stuff, since he was a teenager back then. Dig The Lumineers, they've always recreated that song perfectly when I've seen them do it live on video. Found that song "Home," by playing Song Pop, that's my favorite on the playlist. I prefer the Metallica cover of Whiskey, but that's mostly cause I grew up with that one. Thin Lizzy's version does a better job of conveying that song's sorrowfulness, and I can see why people like it more.

As for the ones I've never heard before, "Kaki King" was very nice guitar work, and "Rye Whiskey" was a good, upbeat-sounding song.
