how is MAster of Orion?  I used to play the old ones.  I've been playing Stellaris.

I really love it! They pretty much seemed to have kept the same races with the additon of a few I think. I haven't played the older games in a long time so I don't really remember. There's a few bugs sometimes especially when you go to end your turn it sometimes hangs up and does not proceed for some reason. Only happened twice so far to me.

I got too many dang games this holiday season. Sales! 7 games for maybe a little more than the price of one. One of my New Years resolutions is no more impulse game buys. 

Not that I am aware of for Calendar Girl - it's a book about a girl who becomes an escort for a different guy each month to pay back loan sharks that are after her family and pay her dads hospital bills and see her sister is set for college. It's a pretty good read so far though.

That happened to me one year too, but lately, I have been really good at not impulse buying games but instead buying new thing for my bedroom to replace all my plastic totes and such. lol so I just swapped the impulse to a different thing.

I got a PS4 real cheap on a Black Friday sale, so for Christmas i got a few PS4 games like Dragon Quest Builders, the Storybook Edition of Odin Sphere, and Tearaway Unfolded.

Nice! I need to get Odin Sphere still. They had good PS4 deals this past holiday on PS4 items.

I just used a treadmill for the first time the other day. I usually just go outside, but I thought a more focused workout would be better. The shock absorbing thing you run on makes me all wobbly when I get off it.

I messed up my town in DQ Builders too. Made me so annoyed, I traded it in. Kind of want to go back and start over again now though.

Yes it does the same thing to me too, from what I learned though is to gradually slow it down when you start to near the end and then it should help it not be as bad. 

It actually went a lot quicker through the second time around because I knew what had to get done so I got past where I was in one day versus taking a weekend to get past where I was.

I had trouble getting my rooms to register points. I think I expanded the town and I wasn't supposed to. I just have the instinct from Minecraft to rearrange everything. Next time I'll be more careful. 

Yeah I know you can create rooms outside of the base, I just don't think it registers them for base points unless it's in the base. And I noticed the based has lighter ground than the rest of the world to show it's border.

I messed with the borders trying to expand the town, then I built stuff I thought was securely in the borders and they didn't register. Also, I would put what I thought were the right items in a room and still I didn't get the points. I must've just messed it up good. I'd like to go back now and start over, but I don't really have the time. Well, I'm psyched for Dragon Quest XI if it ever comes to NA.

I'm late but Happy New Year! Cookies sound delicious right now, but I really should eat breakfast instead of looking for cookies. 

My resolutions are the same: listen to all the un-played stuff in my iTunes library, read more, play more of the games I own instead of buying new ones, read more, and of course excercise.

How the heck did you ruin your dragon quest base? Man that game is like crack to me. I put it on for what feels like 5 minutes until I walk outside and realise the seasons have changed and we've been invaded by the Polish.

 New games I got this holiday season... uh... DQ Builders haha. Also Fire Emblem Birthright, which is phenomenal. Oh, and like a million games for 30 bucks on Bundlestars. Seriously, the games on that site are so cheap I actually had to google whether it was legit or if I was giving my credit details over to the ghost of Stalin.

I was trying to make the Catlin Garden within my base because I was getting tired of the game saying what I had was not a Catlin Garden in the outside world. SO I built this moat from the ocean to my base...mistake number 1 monsters can now get stuck there and be annoying. Second mistake was I needed to then level the rest of my base to try to register that there was a room there because it was not registering there was a room that was an extra 8 squares down. So I do so and still does not register the darn room.

So I got way too lazy to put all the earth back and restarted.

I still need the new Fire Emblem games! That's pretty sweet! I am going to have to check Bundlestars out!
