I think I've mentioned before on here that my favority comic is Archie's Mega Man series, which is written by a guy named Ian Flynn. Or, I should say, was written. The series has gone on indefinite hiatus  But before Flynn wrote Mega Man he became the head writer for the Sonic comic. After reading the Worlds Collide crossover event (Mega Man and Sonic is a weird combination but it worked), I decided to dip my toe in the Sonic pool since I already liked the writer. Plus, Sonic got a soft reboot after Worlds Collide that started the TPs back at 1, so it was a good time to jump on the bandwagon and the books have been good so far. ANYWAY. Archie also published a line of TPs called Sonic Saga Series that starts with Flynn's first story arc as head writer. I've been meaning to get it for a while and finally did. It's called The Darkest Storm 

As of this writing I'm still in the middle of that massive Darkwing Duck collection but I'll be getting to this one soon. I discovered, though, while doing a little research on the series that Archie didn't actually see it all the way through and cancelled the last couple TPs. But that's par for the course with them, unfortunately. Though they allowed Mega Man to come to a proper close, they have yet to publish the trades for the last several arcs. I will remain angry about that until they rectify the issue. But regardless...at least this Sonic book should be good.
