I'm now 32 years old. Holy crap. So it's been a peaceful birthday; went to Rio Grande for lunch, had a pizza for dinner with cake as a dessert, and just played some games (mostly Pokemon but I'll get into that later). I got my birthday present a few days before: a Logitech Wireless Headset H600. No wires to ruin and best of all, when on my dad's PC, there's no pitch feedback in the backgound. And even though I didn't buy anything on Steam I did thin my wish list out. I narrowed it down from 400+ games to ten.

I've been working on articles of course, though I need to focus harder. I have an article about the Nintendo Switch Presentation to go along with this article but there won't be up for some time. Another article I wrote on the Fire Emblem Direct, however, went live recently (mostly because it was shorter, with my Nintendo Switch article racking up 4,000+ words). Looking forward to "Fire Emblem Echoes".

As for what I played on my birthday I booted up "Animal Crossing: New Leaf" (finally got the N3DS item from the Lucky Ticket a week ago) and worked a bit on my town, just started "Undertale", and played quite a bit of "Pokemon Moon" for the day. On "Moon" I was trying to get a Smergal to learn Freeze-Dry via Sketch so I can eventually breed it onto a Vulpix (along with Moonblast), so I went to Mount Lanakila to battle a Snorunt that will call for a Glalie during the S.O.S. battle. Turns out I was doing it backwards. I was suppose to evolve a Snorunt into a Glalie, battle a Smergal so it can call another Smergal for the S.O.S. battle, and use Freeze-Dry so the more recent Smergal can use Sketch to learn it. At least Moonblast is more straightfoward.

I'm planning on getting OverWatch this year but I'm seeing how I'm going to get "Fire Emblem Echoes" first. Speaking of "Fire Emblem" I'm planning on doing a review of "Fire Emblem Heroes", after I finish the rest of the games on my to review list.

Til next time.

Happy birthday! 400+ games ... Starting to think I'll end up owning that many PS4 games.

Thanks. Are there really that many on the Playstation Network?

I'm not gonna start counting, but there's PSN games, PS4 games, a handful of PS2 games and 100 or so PS3 games if you count PS Now (I don't; really wish they'd just let me download).

Thanks. It was getting bad so I narrowed it down to the 10 I wanted out of all of them. Did the same with my GOG and eShop wish lists, though my 3DS one is about 8 or 9 now.

I got notified by Miitomo that it was your birthday yesterday. I have stopped going in there so Happy Belated Birthday.

As for games on my wishlist, once I started going through my digital collections on various platforms I decided to cut right back this year.

I have 284 Steam games, maybe 50 on GOG, a bunch of unclaimed strays from Humble, over 1000 between PS3, PS4 and Vita and 50 or so between Wii U and 3DS. I need to stop buying things just because they are on sale.

Thanks.

Yeah, we can put too many games on a wish list. Speaking of sales sometimes I buy something at a lowered price that isn't on my wish list.

Exactly why I've wound up with as many games as I have. Ooh it's on sale, maybe I'll play it some day/

Happy birthday!!

I'm also super looking forward to Fire Emblem Echoes. I love the art direction. It's seems like a cool mix of Final Fantasy Tactics and the modern Awakening style. Also, it seems like it's going to be much more difficult. The dungeon crawling seems cool, too.

It looks difficult all right, even after you read what was in "Fire Emblem Gaiden".

Happy Birthday.  I just pick up AC: New Leaf a few weeks ago.  I still hadn't played it yet.  My have been playing it though.
