I'm now 32 years old. Holy crap. So it's been a peaceful birthday; went to Rio Grande for lunch, had a pizza for dinner with cake as a dessert, and just played some games (mostly Pokemon but I'll get into that later). I got my birthday present a few days before: a Logitech Wireless Headset H600. No wires to ruin and best of all, when on my dad's PC, there's no pitch feedback in the backgound. And even though I didn't buy anything on Steam I did thin my wish list out. I narrowed it down from 400+ games to ten.
I've been working on articles of course, though I need to focus harder. I have an article about the Nintendo Switch Presentation to go along with this article but there won't be up for some time. Another article I wrote on the Fire Emblem Direct, however, went live recently (mostly because it was shorter, with my Nintendo Switch article racking up 4,000+ words). Looking forward to "Fire Emblem Echoes".
As for what I played on my birthday I booted up "Animal Crossing: New Leaf" (finally got the N3DS item from the Lucky Ticket a week ago) and worked a bit on my town, just started "Undertale", and played quite a bit of "Pokemon Moon" for the day. On "Moon" I was trying to get a Smergal to learn Freeze-Dry via Sketch so I can eventually breed it onto a Vulpix (along with Moonblast), so I went to Mount Lanakila to battle a Snorunt that will call for a Glalie during the S.O.S. battle. Turns out I was doing it backwards. I was suppose to evolve a Snorunt into a Glalie, battle a Smergal so it can call another Smergal for the S.O.S. battle, and use Freeze-Dry so the more recent Smergal can use Sketch to learn it. At least Moonblast is more straightfoward.
I'm planning on getting OverWatch this year but I'm seeing how I'm going to get "Fire Emblem Echoes" first. Speaking of "Fire Emblem" I'm planning on doing a review of "Fire Emblem Heroes", after I finish the rest of the games on my to review list.
Til next time.
