You can't have a list of remakes without this masterpiece. I don't have to explain these games, do I? The first three Mario games are incredible. All-Stars took those games and enhanced the graphics, sound, and added a save feature! Not only that, but it also added "The Lost Levels," which is the original Super Mario Bros. 2 in Japan. We could finally play the gruelling sequel which we missed, and it is truly a challenge only a Mario master could overcome. This is such a tremendouse collection. These games came to life like never before. Later, Nintendo would release another version of All-Stars which included Super Mario World. All of those games on one cart? It's Mario heaven!

I love how SMB2 looks in this version.  Played it a lot.

Oh hey, one I know of. So you're including remakes that are also bundles. Cool deal.

True, it's a collection, but each game was overhauled for a new system, so yeah, it counts.

My daughter and I were talking about this game this morning.  She did't remember playing it, but I know she had.  I told her what the game was like and she just looked confused.  Maybe she hadn't play it? Laughing

Whoa dude, sounds like you need some father/daughter time around Mario All-Stars. That would be some great bonding time.

When this game first came out I REALLY wanted it.  Luckily it came out near my birthday so you can guess what I got.  Nintendo embraced the idea of remakes pretty early on.

Yeah, this is one of Nintendo's first remakes, if not THE first. And you'll be seeing plenty of other Nintendo remakes on this list in the coming weeks.

Forgot this was a remake/collection of SMB 1-3. Cool!
