I have a Pikmin theme on mine. I'll never change it, I think. I like that Bravely Default one. Who's that with the stack of pancakes? I'm hungry.

Hello everyone, how are you? I'm taking a cue from GrayHaired's blog and gonna show you my 3DS Themes. Like the PS3 and 360, you can display themes on your 3DS too. Unfortunately you can't display custom themes like you could on other devices. Well you can if you wanna run a homebrew thing on it. The 3DS has a Theme Shop where you can buy themes for your 3DS menu. There's some really cool ones too.
Unlike the PS3, you can shuffle up to 10 different themes on the 3DS. Like you could have a theme right now, and when you have your 3DS in sleep mode and then you open it, there's a different theme. It's neat. And all the themes have background music as well, the themes even give you different sound effects too, expecially when you load a game, and they have different designs on folders for storing digital games. Yes even the bottom screen changes too according to the theme you are running. Here's all of the 3DS Themes I have on my 3DS
First off, My Nintendo Themes...
This is a Samus theme you could get off My Nintendo. It isn't bad, and they at least remembered Metroid in some way. The music doesn't really match the theme though.
This Link one came from My Nintendo as well. It's cool but again the music doesn't really suit the theme.
This Mario one is from My Nintendo as well. The music at least matches this one. Yes, all those 3 themes share the same song for some reason. There's even a Donkey Kong one, which yes, has the same song before you ask.
This one is from Bravely Second. This one has an original song, thank goodness. I assume it's from the game? I don't know, I have it but haven't touched it yet as I haven't finished the first Bravely game.
This one might be the best theme they have. This one if from Zelda's 30th anniversary. The song in this is really cool too. Definitely recommend grabbing this one with your coins. Oh, you can get all the My Nintendo themes via the coins you earn in the rewards program. So they are freebies. Kind of.
Here are some freebies from the Theme Shop...
This one is from Sonic Boom. This was the first free theme they had. The only thing bad about it is that you are reminded that Sonic Boom exists. You're welcome.
This one is much more better, this one is from Sonic's 25th anniversary. It's really cool as it features both Classic Sonic, Modern Sonic, and Boom Sonic, which is not pictured since you just saw him on the theme above this one.
This one was a freebie when Monster Hunter 4 or whatever released on the 3DS. Not too sure to be honest. But free is free.
This one is from SMT4 Apocalypse, and this one might be the best of the free themes. I'm not too familiar with the series, I have Strange Journey, which I never finished. It's a very neat theme and definitely stands out from the rest of the free ones.
Now, from Badge Arcade...
Yes, you can get themes on Nintendo Badge Arcade. Well if you actually give it a certain amount of money... This is a Super Mario Bros. themed one that I got for uh... spending money on the Badge Arcade... err lets move on.
Lastly, Paid Themes...
This one was a freebie from one of the Humble Nindie bundles, I think from last year? Well not really free since you had to buy the games to get this. It's really cool and really retro. This one was an exclusive so it isn't available at the shop I think.
This one is from Metal Gear Solid 3D: Snake Eater on the 3DS. It's really cool, it plays an instrumental version of Snake Eater, has MGS sound effects when you load up a game, and the folder icons change to little cardboard boxes. I bought this one cause since Konami hates us, they might take it down. You can buy it, or you can get it for free if you buy the game via the eShop. And no, I bought a physical copy, so theme wasn't free.
Mega Mewtwo X and Mega Mewtwo Y from the Pokemon X/Y games. I got this one last year in honor of Mewtwo's birthday, according to the internet. It's really cool and it plays Mewtwo's battle theme when you battle him in Pokemon X/Y.
This one is one of my personal favorites from Xenoblade Chronicles. There's 2 themes from XC but got this one because I liked the characters looking into the distance more. It plays the Gaur Plains theme, and the Monado on the touch screen changes symbols when you scroll. It's really cool and that last detail is something they didn't have to do, but I appreciate them for doing it.
This was my very first paid theme, as in the very first one I ever bought. I bought it because, well you know how much I love Rosalina. So yes this is my favorite one. So obviously I had to get it. It's really cool, Rosalina spins on the touch screen when you scroll, and plays the Toy Time Galaxy theme from Super Mario Galaxy, which is a remix of the Super Mario Bros. theme. Sad that this is the only Rosalina theme, but it'll have to do for now. I want one in her Racer/Biker outfit and one in her Olympics outfit
Well these are all my 3DS themes. It's a bunch and I originally only had a few paid ones, like the Rosalina, XC, and Mewtwo ones, but eventually my collection of themes grew thanks to various freebies and promotions they had. There's a bunch of different themes on the Theme Shop, so if you want to personalize your 3DS, go ahead and give Nintendo some money for them. If I ever get more, I'll make a new post.
Do you have any themes on your 3DS? Well thanks for reading and...
