I feel like as a month, I could do without February. It's cold in Chicago and it is this time of year when I start to get tired of it being cold and feel that Spring could step it up a bit. February 2017 now stands between me and my Switch, but since I have no control over time no matter how much I whine, I'll have to embrace little February to make the most of it.

In my house, we are already prepping for Anime Central 2017 in May, where my husband has a table in Artist's Alley. That means art ideas are flowing and cosplay plans are in the works. Not sure yet what I'll be going for this year, but I plan on actually cosplaying this year instead of hiding behind the table the whole time. Stretch the comfort zone a bit.

Tomorrow I'm picking up Yoshi's Woolly World for 3DS because I can't pass up the Poochie amiibo. Hope the new levels are worth it!

When I first started playing, I was against it. I don't even know why. And then it grew on me. And then it really grew on me, all because of those characters.

The voice actors from the game did a Twitch session together the other night where they were playing the game. They were making Ignis's VA read things aloud, it was hysterical.

Yeah February isn't a very good month.

I think it would be fun to cosplay but I'm probably too old to do that now. I want to dress up as Kirby, but I don't think I have the body for it. :) Do you remember the game Lemmings? I think it would be fun (and easy) to dress as those guys, too.

You CAN get the Poochy amiibo without getting the game. That's what I just did!

You are NEVER too old to cosplay! There is an amazing couple in their 60's who come to ACen every year as Mario and Peach. I love seeing that. And yes, I played Lemmings on DOS...that was so much fun, haha. You should go for it!!

I thought about getting Poochy by himself, but I wanted the game on my 3DS anyway. They put some neat stuff in Im going to review in my next blog :) But Poochy is too cute!

I love that painting. Not a huge FF fan ( haven't played many, so not a hater either), but it looks cool.

Winter is when I'm glad i live in Texas. I follow a YouTuber named Cinema Snob who lives in Springfield IL and get the impression i'd take even longer to get up in that weather.

It is really hard to get up in the morning when it is still dark out, and then come home from work when it is dark again. The snow and such is nice for Christmas, but after that it just gets old. I shouldn't complain, as we've only dropped below 0 for a couple of days here and there this winter. That...that is the worst. But please enjoy your Texas weather for me!
