Things that happened since my last blog in November....
I played and finished Final Fantasy XV. Despite the fact that its missing content and it's not exactly the game that was announced ten years ago: I managed to enjoy the hell out of it. Just waiting on some of the DLC and free updates that would seem to tighten up the narrative of the game. Right at this moment, I have 94 hours on the game and all of the trophies, so I need another reason for playing the game other than getting rare weapons.
Bought Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 on the PS4, it was damn surprise to see this game get release and have MvC Infinite announced on the same day. Daredevil, Leon Kennedy and Miles Morales Spider-Man must be playable or annouced for Infinite.
Decided to finish up Gravity Rush Remastered, it amazing how awkward the PS Vita controllers were. Because I managed to platinum Gravity Rush on the PS4 since I didn't have to contend with touch controls. Plus I picked up the sequel, which looks gorgeous on the PS4.
Odin Sphere Leifthrasir on the PS4, it was one of those PS2 games I never got a chance to play. So when the remaster was on sale during the holidays, I jumped on that immediately.
PC stuff...
I restarted Final Fantasy XIII again for some reason, it really sucks to get through the first ten chapters again. Bought Street Fighter V and Watchdogs 2 during the Steam Winter sale; I'm very earlier in Watch Dogs 2 but it feels like it takes a lighter tone than the first one. Street Fighter V looks really nice on the PC but it sucks that it doesn't have a arcade mode. The Shadow Falls DLC was fun but slightly disjointed and lacked any sort of the flow like the Mortal Kombat X story mode. Not sure if I'll keep playing, maybe season 2 will fix that. That being said, I really hope that Marvel Vs Capcom Infinite doesn't repeat the same mistakes as SFV.
Going forward...
I pre-ordered a Nintendo Switch with a pro controller and Breath of the Wild. But ever since Resident Evil 7 came out, I kind of wish that I picked up a PSVR headset instead. Watching people's reactions to the game has been fun. Games like Rez Infinite and EVE Valkyrie look fun as well.
Still working, so 2017 isn't as bad as last year during this time.
