Tokyo Mirage Sessions sounds interesting. I liked the trailers when it came out. I almost went for it.

I meant to post this, but I fell asleep. So here's yesterday's blog today technically. It's that time again. Today I show the big box games/Special Edition games I've bought. So without further ado enjoy a synopsis of the games and what comes with them!
Rodea The Sky Soldier limited edition comes bundled with the superior Wii version of the game, an artbook, key chain, and soundtrack. The Wii U version is an hd upgraded version of the 3DS title and it suffers from camera issues and some wonky controls, but when it does take flight Rodea can be a solid title when you put the effort in.
Shantae: Half Genie Hero- The Risky Beats Edition Comes with a soundtrack. It's a really fun platformer with some puzzle elements thrown in. Still, it's a rather short game as fun as it is. It only took me 7 hours to complete both the regular story and hero mode 100%
Star Fox Zero and Guard- Star Fox Zero saw the return of Star Fox to the home console since his last outing on the Gamecube. The controls are both intuitive and difficult to get a handle on. When they work it can be really fun. When your spinning around your living room in circles...its not as much. Plus it's a retelling of a retelling of the original Star Fox. Wrap your head around that. Star Fox Guard meanwhile is a sort of Tower defense game. It's pretty fun in short spurts keeping track of enemies on the tablet and off. I think I even had more fun with Guard than Zero.
Super Mario Maker comes packed with a booklet of drawings, various themes, and hidden codes to use in manual mode to watch Mario Maker videos. One of which includes Koji Kondo jamming out and Miyamoto and Tezuka drawing stuff. Plus Mario Maker is friggin amazing
Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE is an odd mash up of Atlus's Shin Megami Tensei/Persona with Fire Emblem. The result: A pretty fun JRPG. Yes we know it got censored, but it doesn't diminish the final product. The special edition comes with an art booklet, soundtrack sampler, all of the DLC, and stickers!
And finally here is the big one. Xenoblade Chronicles Special Edition. It comes with an art booklet, a downloadable soundtrack exe. of a few select songs on a 1gb usb device, and of course the game. While it's not as story driven as Chronicles was, and the characters aren't as memorable...fighting in your giant Skells and going around the world is a treat. It's one of the best looking games on the wii u. So much so if you buy a physical copy there is free dlc to have it run better. That's how massive it is. Definitely worth looking into...except maybe the soundtrack usb thing...just buy the soundtrack.
Anyways join me later today where hopefully I don't forget to post my blog! My mountain of crappy Wii shovelware is coming! Plus some good games and limited edition stuff. As well as japanese titles! It's an whole mess of titles!
