So I guess I'm screwing the pooch on BaD this year. Feeling kinda hollow right now. Hopefully something good will happen to pull me out of this black hole.

I'm sorry, Peter. Go to my Facebook wall and watch Beau zooming around in the snow. That might help a little bit.

I did already and it did help a bit.

Sorry to hear that you're feeling so down. I'm sure that rough job change must be a big part of that. I hope things pick up for you soon.

Between losing my job and my uncle passing away it's been a rough week or so. I just feel empty but I'm fighting it.

I know this isn't a lot of help but its a panda and pandas seem to be the fun drunk members of the animal kingdom.

Sorry Pete, I know things are rough on you right now. I hope in time you feel better / things get better.  We're rooting for you!

I was feeling that way for 8 of 12 months last year. It does get better. My recommendation would be Wellbutrin ... its offbrand buproprion has certainly helped me get out of a dark place.

I was on Amitryptiline for about 10 years but I weened myself off it a couple of years ago and was fine up until now. Anyway this is more situational than anything else.

Funny, I'm reading this a couple weeks later and now I'm in a similar position as you with lost work and family problems. I'm just starting to think about an anti-depressent. My girlfiend recommends this herb rhodiola. I'm going to try some tomorrow.

I would just take time for yourself, the best way to combat and get through dark times is to care for your mental health. I hope things get better
