Well another day of BaD is here. So with that comes MORE GAMES! Enjoy todays batch!

Blazing Angels Squadrons of WWII is a  army dogfight simulator in which you control planes and shoot down other planes during WWII. The controls are fairly simple to get a grasp of and it is pretty fun. A little repetitive at times, but a a pretty good budget title.

Boom Blox & Boom Blox Bash Party. The first Boom Blox was the beginning of an EA/Steven Spielberg deal in which they were to develop various games for various system. Of the three series deal only one series actually came through and that was Boom Blox. It's surprisingly intuitive, yet simple in concept. Throw balls at a tower or point blocks or play virtual jenga. The games were a lot of fun and they were also good party titles.

Bully Scholarship Edition was released across all platforms, but I got the Wii edition. I highly enjoyed Bully as it's pretty much adolescent GTA while providing social commentary on Bullying and school. The Wii controls are okay and is usally used for things like aiming the slingshot at other students and some of the combat elements. A great game which Rockstar should really make a sequel for.

Captain Morgane and the Golden Turtle is a sequel to the So Blonde series of PC point and click adventures released in Europe. Yes this was not given a release in America. It's your standard point and click puzzle adventure. There's a lot of illogical situations and item combinations much like any other point a click title. It's a rather short game though. It took only about 15 hours to beat it...then again with how many point and click puzzle adventures that were released for the Wii I'm practically a point and click puzzle adventure master.

Captain Rainbow was released only in Japan and was developed by Skip who we know for the sole series of theirs that has made it to America in Chibi-Robo. Captain Rainbow is a bizarre game. As the hero Captain Rainbow you run around an island of Nintendo and Skip outcasts and rejects fulfilling their wishes. Wonder what happened to Little Mac in his 15 year absence? He became an overweight has-been. Birdo gives you a request to retrieve a "special" item to prove she's a girl and also swears like a sailor, and there are even more characters that get the absurd treatment. It's such a bizarre game I can't do it justice.

And on the last of the first batch is Case Closed-One Truth Prevails! Released in Europe, but not America, Case Closed (AKA Detective Conan in Japan) is based off the anime. The game is set in a theme park as you go around trying to solve a murder that occurred there. Along the way you can putz around playing a few mini games like Soccer, Curling, and an arcade style beat em up based of a superhero of some kind. The game has a Phoenix Wright style of solving cases as you chain together clues to solve the mystery. It's an mediocre game, strictly for fans of the show.

Castle of Shikigami III is a shoot em up game in the vein of Ikaruga or 1942, or whatever vertical style shoot em up you can think of. You can choose between various characters, each is more anime than the last and the story is fairly incomprehensible. But hey if you like bullet hell shooters this is a fairly solid game.

Cooking Mama Cook Off and World Kitchen are enjoyably food preperation simulators. There is a variety of recipes that are available, each with different motions and variations of control schemes. You can play with a friend to compete and create a better burger or really anything. They are pretty short games, biut overall they are enjoyable affairs.

Cursed Mountain is a game I highlighted as a bargain bin buy and the overall game is well crafted in terms of story and presentation. The controls can be a bit spotty, and the slow pace won't be for everyone, but I highly enjoyed my the game.

de Blob and de Blob 2 are really enjoyable, and it's a shame that it knd of flew under the radar. The best way I can describe de Blob and it's sequel is Tony Hawk's Graffiti mode meets a platformer. The original de Blob has some cool elements, but the fact that it requires you to use the remopte to jump with a flip is troubling. The issue was fixed in the sequel, mapping it to the "a" button, and it even features more levels and side scrolling elements. Overall, the games are solid fun.

Deadly Creatures is a rare 3rd party game that manages to be pretty decent. You play as either a spider or scorpion as you crawl through the grass and desert area eating bugs and facing off against the deadliest creature of all...MAN! DUN DUN DUN! The game is pretty enjoyable, and the controls are pretty good. The game also features the voice of Billy Bob Thorton, and is one of the last roles the late, great Dennis Hopper passed away before he died. Definitely worth it as a bargain bin buy.

I never played Boom Blox.

I kind of wish that we got Captain Rainbow in the US, but I guess I can understand why we didn't.  Interesting thing about the game company Skip is that they've gone under different names in the past, and some of those games made it to the US.  One is a PSOne mini-game collection called Incredible Crisis, and another one is a PS2 game about kissing people called Chulip.  One thing most Skip games have in common (including these ones and the first Chibi Robo), is that they all have a dog named Tao.

One of the characters in Castle Shikigami 3 is Time Gal, who had her own laserdisc game back in the day.

I've played all the Cooking Mama and other Mama games.  The weirdest one on the Wii was Babysitting Mama.  Ever heard of that one?  I hear in April there is a new Cooking Mama game coming out on the 3DS where you make desserts, and it's called Cooking Mama: Sweet Treats. I hope I can review it.

I liked the de Blob games, but I stopped playing them because they got pretty buggy in the end.

I loved Incredible Crisis. In fact I still have my copy for the PS1. It was like the first crazy mini game compilation game I played and it was so hilarious to play. Also I didn't know Time Gal was in Shikigami 3. I didn't play much of it though either. I remember Time Gal on the Sega CD though I didn't own a Sega CD. As for Babysitting Mama...I have it! I won't get to cover that one though. It's in my other tote of Wii games lol

Hmmm. I don't know, I think I can live without most of these. I watched my friend play Bully.  Great soundtrack.

Yeah it's pretty good. I enjoyed beating up people for money and the class minigames were fun.

I perk up when I hear a game described as "bizarre".

I have one of the deBlob games. Want to play it, yes I do.

Yeah the De Blob games are really fun you should definitely get the other de blob you don't have. It's damn cheap.
