Hello everyone, how are you? This will be the last post of my favorite games of 2016 and what better way than with a classic from the PS1. So here is my favorite PS1 game of 2016:

Final Fantasy lX

Final Fantasy lX: Final Fantasy is a series I always wanted to get into, but just didn't know how or where to start. From what I see, not all the games are connected? Seems like I can jump into any of them. The problem is I didn't know which. A friend on twitter recommended FFlX to me as it was their favorite. It was on sale last year during a Flash Sale if I remember correctly and got it really cheap, so thought it was a good chance to try it. I really can't say more other than I really enjoyed the game from begining to end. It's a really good game and I'll be talking more about it more in a future post.

And that's all my favorite games of 2016. I wanted to end it on a high note and hope this was it. I'm gonna do a GOTY thing using the games I talked about, so hope you look forward to that. Well that's all for now so thanks for reading and...

FF9 is a great starting point. Its mechanics are enjoyable and representative of the series as a whole, and its fusion of classic aesthetics with 3-D graphics give you kind of a best of both worlds view of the series.

FF9 is probably one of my top five games of all time. I've played it over and over, and still love it. Thinking about another playthrough lately.

FF9 is a great game. I also recommend starting from FF4. I also really like FF6, as it's one of my top five favorite games of all time.
